at the parks, regarding attractions, over the past 3 years? That's about the last time we went to a park. The existing rides were getting old-in-the-tooth, and loosing their "wow". We've gone to VB the past couple of years, and just wondered if a trip now to WDW would be like "new and exciting", like the first time . Or should we wait a couple of years, to see what's coming? Any news of upcoming attractions?

I can't think of any really great new rides that weren't there 3 years ago...but my kids (ages 6 and 11) are most excited about playing Agent P at Epcot, and the magic cards at MK. There is that new 7 Dwarfs ride at MK, we haven't done it yet!

Is the new addition to MK already 3 years old? I though the added area was nice and we all enjoy the 7 Dwarf's Mine train. We weren't able to eat at Gaston's Tavern though. I don't believe anything has changed in the other parks over the last few years. Coming up though Epcot has the Frozen ride and AK has a big ride coming, Avatar I think. Regardless it's a pretty good size building being put up.

The new Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom has opened in the last 3 years I think. That includes Enchanted Tales with Belle, Little Mermaid, the 7 Dwarfs Mine Ride, and the Beauty and the Beast restaurant. They also moved and doubled the size of Dumbo and created a water feature playground. Did you see the new Test Track makeover at Epcot? That's all I can think of, plus Magic Bands and FP+.

Oh a lot of stuff!. There is the new amazing Diagon Alley, the Gringott ride, the amazing Trasformers ride, the Springfield land, the new night show and the new hotel...
Oh wait, wrong resort.

They removed the Sorcerer's Hat from the Studios.

Not sure I'm young enough to enjoy the new attractions, my child is an adult, and I have no grandchildren to treat to WDW. I've got a 10 day nonexpiring park-to-park pass and have only used it 5 times over the past 10 years, last used around 3 years ago. I think it will be several years before I use it again. Have I outgrown the "magic"? I am intrigued with DTD's new offerings, however. I think I'll go back to WDW in a year just explore DTD. But for now VB is my favorite destination.

DHS: Shut down American Idol Experience, changed Star Tours to three separate "trips", shut down Backlot Movie tour, added Frozen Sing Along
DAK: Shut down a section of the park as they work on Avatar-land, moved Festival of the Lion King back to the corner in Africa.
MK: Entire overhaul of Fantasyland.
EPCOT: Shut down Honey I Shrunk the Audience. Added some eating booths in World Showcase.

Mostly what has changed in the last three years is the addition of FastPass Plus which people either love or hate, but it is the primary way to get fast passes now.

I'm sure I missed a bunch of things. Of course, the Norway Ride will be coming back...I heard the new ride will have a cold opening.

Sounds like a lot going on, are these attractions all completed? Anything still scheduled to come? If so, when do you anticipate this growth spurt to subside? I'd like to get back to WDW after DTD and Parks' upgrade completed. Any guess when that'll be done.
