What new scents will be in Soarin?

With the new version of the Soarin film do you think there will be new scents? I love the orange, eucalyptus, and ocean smells in the original version. What new scents would you like to see, errr smell in the new version?

I'd be really surprised if that were the case. The equipment is already there in the existing two theaters and I would expect the ride mechanism in the new theater to be identical.

I'm really going to miss the oranges. That is my absolute favorite Disney smell!

But they are replacing the projection equipment with brand new. I can foresee them removing the remaining equipment.

Like I said, I have no real idea, just thinking, what smells would they use? It's not like there is a smell associated with the Great Wall of China. It's not like flying through orange groves or ski slopes.

There is an easy way to find out, more I think on it. New film is already being viewed some show times in DCA. I guess ask on the DL board?

I was told by the manager of soarin at dl during an abd backstage tour that there will be two new scents: grass and flowers. My guess for flowers is the tulip fields, but I'm sure there are also other famous flower locations.

If we go over Japan, I'd hope that there would be the smell of cherry blossoms. They could do some wonderful things in Italy if we go over vineyards. They could always keep the alpine scent if they take us over the slopes of Switzerland.

Dear lord no, do you know how hard it is to hold your breath while you drive through the entire state of NJ? The last thing I need in Disney is a reminder of that stench lol.
