what new food did you discover in orlando

Cinnamon & Raisin bread.

Buy a loaf of this, butter all of it, carefully place back inside the bag and take on a trip to a theme park. Great for the whole family to nibble on througout the day without having to resort to over-priced rubbish in the shops!

The cheese bread at Rose & Crown. We had an early lunch seating so the bread was hot, fresh. Yummmmmmmm

in turkey not turkey legs by the way a great chef we had made us a doughnut the size of a tennis ball it was freshly made and warm to hot yet in the middle was ice cream the size of a golf ball and it was not all melted unbelievable,he would not give up his secret when i asked so i am looking for something to better it on my trip.i am making notes on your suggestions

You have NO IDEA how many kitchen shops I get dragged round (in the US) by the husband DESPERATELY searching for a bloomin onion maker...

Not sure, One thing I crave when i'm starving is the portions!

Yes and no! Love the food and the portions, but would become HUGE if I ate like that all the time!

Can't really differentiate what foods I have come to love from Orlando and what are from other parts of the US... BUT they include:
- Bloomin' Onion
- Teppanyaki
- Cinamon dusted donuts
- Lobster, clam chowder, hot fresh cheese biscuits from Red Lobster
- Dippin' Dots
- PROPER chocolate chip cookies (for many years, you couldn't get proper ones in this country).

For those of you that love the Bloomin Onion. They make something almost identical to this at Chilis, it's called the Awesome Blossom.! It's one of the food items that DH misses most and unfortunately there is no way for his family to ship it!

Something that I'd never had before going to Epcot, that I just love, is the cheese soup at Le Cellier, it's wonderful!

I can't say I've had anything there that you can't get here but I do think they make great cheesecake - lovely and dry not slimey like you get here.

not so much a food as a restaurant, but we love taco bell, cheap cheerful and ALL the kids will eat something
also smores and dh is looking forward to tony romas ribs, they are just not the same over here!!
