Scotch-Irish (means my people started in Scotland and emigrated to Ireland before emigrating to America) on my father's side; French, English and Welsh on my mother's side..............and Texan by the grace of God! (Sorry, couldn't resist, just a little saying we have, please don't take offense).

Married a man with native Mexican ancestry, and so have adopted some of his culture.

We commonly call our kids Irish-Mexicans.........especially when they display their tempers!

German on my mother's side, English on my father's, with bits of French thrown in for good measure to ensure that I will always be at war with myself! haha pirate:

So, yeah... you left off English as an option...

I'm an American of Scotch/Irish and Cherokee descent. Red hair and Indian cheekbones..... :p

I am mostly Italian (Naples and Sicily) with 1/4 Polish and 1/4 Irish (Some English, Cherokee Indian, Scotch-Irish on the Irish side and also probaly some Lithunianian on the Polish side). DH is French Canadian, English and Irish

I am American! HAHA

We spent many hours in school debating the "nationality" question. Your nationality is the country in which you are born. I think the question you really want to know is "what ancestory are you?"

Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a witch! HAHA

Anyways, my ancestory is Scilician, Scotch-Irish, and Native American (Cherokee) on my mom's side; and German, Welsh on my dad's side.

You took the smart butt words right out of my mouth, lol.

My ancestry is Chinese and German.

My ancestry--25% British--a smattering of French (with an alleged ancestry traced to Marie Antoinette--but I'll only claim that when someone in my family actually constructs the family tree accurately showing that) and the rest all European mutt.

Hubby is 1/8th Chinese and 1/8th Lithuanian--not sure on the rest of him. (He doesn't look chinese--though they slight slant of the eye is still there--even in my kids who are 1/16th--but that's all that remains).

My mother is white, my father was hispanic. Other than having his square jaw, I look nothing like my dad!

Polish and German, with a bit of English and Native American thrown in.

I am Canadian with Armenian ancestry from both sides as well as married to an Armenian.

I am also proud to say that I was the first from both sides from my Mom as well as Dad to have been born in Canada.

I am mostly Italian, Scottish and Dutch, with a smidge of English.
Everyone thinks I am Irish though. I think it's the freckles. ;)

DH is Italian(Sicilian) on his Dad's side and I think Scottish(via Canada) on his Mom's, some English thrown in there as well.

Slovenian, Croatian, some French, some German...Pretty much a hodge-podge, due to my parents/grandparents having to move around a lot during WW1 and 2. (They claimed their allegiance to a lot of countries!) :sunny:
Or maybe just plain ole American. :sunny:

Texican, no wait that doesn't count I guess. Long time ago before Texican the all came from Ireland so Irish I guess, with a little more Irish from my Fathers side so mostly Irish I guess.

Since a lot of my relatives came to Texas when it was still Mexico and became Mexican citizens before they got all uppity and fought Mexico for Texas does that mean I can say I am part Mexican? (jst kidding hence the term Texican)

Irish from my Mom and Canadian from my dad!

Jen

Italian, Irish, German, French-Canadian, and English. There is probably some Swedish and Welsh in there also. But people usually think I'm Irish because of the red hair and fair skin.
