What artist songs do you hate.

I hate disney channel "stars" jonas brothers demi lavato selena gomez ect.
Taylor swift all her songs are annoying whiny love songs or annoying whiny break up songs. Write about something else all ready!
I hate any song that says the same line for most of the song like that song called do you remember witch pretty much says that line the whole time. i hear it say "We can't write good songs" over and over.

x rated rap...........and.......... since i read his playboy interview......anything by John Mayer...........he is a scumbag.

JMHOld lady opinion:snooty:

Dittos about the stars from the Disney Channel music machine
Most rap is crap
Anything that repeats the hook over and over........we get it:headache:
Run on sentence songs. Take a breath Taylor Swift.
Head banger music.

I agree with X Rated Rap or any type of music that promotes violence, and I really don't care for Classical. Oh, yeah, elevator music is on this list too.

I no longer have to hear kiddie pop and am happy to report that I wouldn't know a Jonas Brother if he showed up on the doorstep. Also didn't know most of those other people you mentioned.

Taylor Swift is one I know and like well enough.

Don't care for rap or hip-hop much. Also don't like the White Stripes and their ilk.

Country music. It all sounds the same, although there are two genres, the ones that try to sound hillbilly, and the ones that try to be country pop.

I'll stick with The Clash thank you very much.

Rap music is abysmal. I can't stand 10 seconds of it. Plus, it's all about the same subject matter, if you know what I mean.

Agreed. I also don't like really heavy metal. Otherwise my music tastes are pretty eclectic - I like a little bit of everything.

I can't listen to jazz. I guess I just don't get it.

Me either. I've tried but I don't get it. :confused3

I never "got" the grunge band sound either and I'm not sure what it is but I can't listen to Alicia Keys, like nails on chalkboard to me for some reason.

I hate NO music because I haven't listened to enough of each genre to form an opinion. I thought I didn't like country until I heard a song that I liked. I made an assumption like a pp that all of it was about the same thing. But, I realize that NO music is all about the same thing except the blues. Don't form your opinions about a genre because of the main stream artists. It's usually the ones you've haven't heard of that has the best and most creative music.

also...............i like swing. not so much the band names..........big bad vodoo daddy.........and................cherry poppin daddys.............i think i used to know a couple of those guys:rotfl2:

I'm not a huge fan of (in Kevin's words) "the variable who's who of the Disney Channel."

I also don't care for blues music or hard rock.

I cant think of anything I "hate".

I can think of things I dont like to listen to...

I dont like when the singer's voice is overly synthesized, which seems to be a big trend. (Think anything by Brittany Spears). I always think they are trying to hide something.

I dont like the trend where the singer feels the need to incorporate runs or vocal gymnastics into every part of the song. Again....it seems like over compensating for vocal shortcomings.

I dont like to listen to angry rap / hip hop. I've tried to find something redeeming in Eminem and for the life of me....I just cant

I dont like the stuff Fantasia has put out since American Idol. I thought she was magnificent on the show and couldnt wait for her CD to be released. I was sorely disappointed that she seemed to do away with everything that was unique and special about her singing in favor of trying to sound exactly like everything else on the radio.

I dont understand the appeal of Bob Dylan. I've tried to see the genius that everyone seems to see but me. I think it's one of the "emperor's new clothes" scenarios. The man can not sing. He might write great songs...but he should let someone else record them. If you really want to have some fun.....go to iTunes and sample Bob Dylan's Christmas album :Christmas In The Heart". It got me through a couple of blue periods around the holidays. All I had to do was listen to the snippet of Little Drummer Boy, Silver Bells or Must Be Santa and the gales of laughter would immediately make me feel better. It might be the funniest thing I've ever heard.

I can find something I like in every genre...except country western. Makes me a little sick to my stomach.

Can't think of any music I hate...if you look hard enough you'll prob find something in every genre that you like...that's what's great about ipods and internet radio, it's easy to explore so many different types of music...of course, I usually don't even listen to music anymore, mainly talk radio and podcasts since I get bored by music after about 10 minutes...

Ha ha...I feel the same way about Bob Dylan. He and Randy Newman belong in the "People Who Shouldn't Sing Their Own Music" category. They write great stuff but are annoying to listen to!!!

My "can't do's" are rap (never, ever in a million years), and country that tries to sound like rock n' roll. It's country, darn it. Hank Williams it up and embrace your sound!!!
