What movies make you cry??

I think it would be shorter to list the ones I don't cry at :).

Anywho...the ones that really get me are
"Monsters, Inc"
"Armageddon"
"My Girl"

"Wit" w/ Emma Thompson is the one movie that I basically just bawl my way through. It is a very well made film, but is very very very emotionally draining.

Lets see.....

Terms of Endearment (the hospital scene when D. Winger is talking to her little boy, Teddy.) GUT WRENCHING!!!

Beaches
Steel Magnolias
The Family Stone
Bambi

Pearl Harbor definitely brought tears to my eyes, the kind you get when you smell noxious fumes. pirate:

I don't know... but we just went to see "Lady in the Water" today... and they showed the preview for the new "World Trade Center" movie.

I got choked up just in the previews, and the woman in front of me was visibly crying and shaking her head to say, "I won't be seeing that."

I don't know.... it still seems too soon... but, irregardless, I think we will ALL have a hard time with that one...

Dh and I cry everytime we watch Mr. Holland's Opus, and we watch it everytime it is on. It is the ending that gets to us, everytime he opens the auditorium door we start to bawl.

OMG, pretty much most of the movies that have already been mentioned. But, I cry during T.V. shows, commercials, letters, books, some of these posts etc. I am nothing but a big CRYBABY!!!

Steel Magnolias (everytime I watch it)
The Green Mile
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (the end where everyone bows to the Hobbits) even DH cried then
Without a Trace (even though it had a happy ending)
Ransom
It's a Wonderful Life
Phenomenon (the ending, waaahhhh!)
The Passion of the Christ (I have it on DVD but have not watched it, but I have included here because I know 100% that I will absolutely bawl when I do watch it.)
Dumbo, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid (the end when she hugs her dad)
Forrest Gump (when he meets his little boy)
Ghost
Pearl Harbor (when Danny says "No, you are going to be a Daddy")
Several Lifetime Movies

I could go on and on......

Oh God....I JUST finished watching the movie 'Stepmom' with Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon

This is one I need to add to my list of movie tearjerkers!!

Good one! I almost forgot about Dumbo. One of the saddest movies ever made.

:dumbo:

I cry when Dumbo's mom sings "Baby Mine"

Favorite adult crier: "Sayonnara" with Marlon Brando. Lovers kept apart bc. of cultural differences. A very good movie that many people have never heard of. Brando is young and such a babe.

Movies about animals hit me the hardest: Seabiscuit, Dreamer, Old Yeller, Rounder, The Yearling.

The Lion King was the first movie I remember crying at.

Most recently, Finding Neverland, Hotel Rwanda, and United 93 have gave me tears.

I cry at almost every movie, it would be much easier to list the movies that don't make me cry! DH and DS know that I'll cry sometime during a movie and they are both always checking and waiting to hear that 'sniff' from me and then laugh!!!!

The movies that make me cry the most are:
Armageddon
Steele Magnolias
Titanic
Dumbo
Bambi
Terms of Endearment
and I'm sure there are others that I can't think of right now!

Rudy.

I can never, ever watch it without crying at the end. It is just so awesome to watch a kid's dream of playing football for Notre Dame come true.

Though I'm not much of a crier, I watched Step Mom yesterday and got pretty teary eyed. Not at the end though, I was fine during that part. I cried when Susan Sarandon was dancing with her kids to "Ain't no Mountain High Enough". To me, those are some of the best moments as a parent - those spontaneous, fun times when you can be silly and laugh and just have a great time. Watching the mom have one of those moments with her kids, knowing her days were numbered, did me in. It's kind of choking me up again just thinking about it!

Steal Magnolias
League of Their Own
My Girl
No matter how many times I see them... I cry everytime
