Please help me plan!!!!! What month do you go to Disney World? S

Well I voted February because that is our next trip but counting this trip we will have been once in January, twice in February, twice in May and once in December. :) All trips have had their positives and negatives. :)

May is our favorite time to go.

June most of the time
April,Oct ,July and looking at DEC06

We try to go around Oct/Nov/Dec time to get at least one holiday in and that is always the time we enjoy most. princess:

May is our favorite (of course we havent been able to do that since our DD was in Pre-K and able to be pulled out of school). Loved the Flower Festival and Mother's Day.

2nd Favorite - Easter Time during April - a bit crowded but nice.

Least favorite - summer - (but the hotest most crowded July in Disneyworld is 1000 times better than July in my backyard in NJ) ;)

We been at least once in every month except March. If I had to choose only one month, it would have to be October. It's still warm enough for shorts, but usually not incredibly hot. It usually isn't that crowded either. Of course, this year it was crowded when we went because it was the end of the free dining.

My second favorite is either the end of April or the first part of May for the same reasons.

Any month but summer. We stay away June, July, and August. It is too hot and the lines are too long.

Family tradition takes us there the two weeks after Thanksgiving as often as possible. No lines and beautiful decorations.

We love October for Mickey's not very Scary....

Any January because it is so leisurely.

May is good because the lines are not too long and it is still warm enough to swim everyday, but not too hot...

by the way, we are from Utah - The family has probably been 40+ times!!

We've been at most times of the year, but mostly go in early December, because:
1) the holiday decorations are all up and pretty
2) there are usually very few attractions down for maintenance
3) the weather in Florida is much better than in Minnesota that time of year
4) Mickey always throws me a birthday party! :earboy2: (OK, so it's really MVMCP, but we usually go on my birthday!)

Our favorite time to visit is early December....but we are trying January in a couple of days, may become our new favorite.Although it is hot and crowded in the summer months, I really like the fact that we can stay longer than a week and that the kids don't miss any school. The heat however, is something else.

We live in Central Florida and we go every month! My favorite time to stay on property are the week after Thanksgiving up to Dec 15th. I love the Christmas decorations and the crowds are very small during this time, except on weekends. My favorite time of year to go on attractions is Jan 5th up to Presidents weekend. There is usually very little wait for attractions during this time. In fact it was during this time that we got our picture taken at Germany with Snow White and ALL 7 dwarfs in one picture!!! My favorite season at WDW is summer. The parks are open later. The pools are refreshing. People go back to room to nap or swim to beat the heat, so crowds are pretty manageable during the afternoon.

We usually go in Sept. Went in Dec of this year. Going in both March and Oct of 06. (short, short trip in march 4 days, long normal trip in oct 10+ days). I love going in Sept the week after labor day, low crowds, no waiting for anything, it's great. Weather is hot and muggy, but not completely unbearable. But the hurricaine stress got to me a little last year with 3 while we were going down/at wdw/on the way home. I am over it now and hope to start back with our Sept trips in 07. Too excited about MNSSHP in Oct of this year to move our trip!

My DH and I just went in May '05 and it was great. The weather was perfect. We have gone in Sept. and are planning on going in Sept. '06. We go after Labor Day and the lines are very short. It's still warm so you can wear shorts and go swimming too!! :goodvibes

I like October. I might try December for MVMCP and the Osborne Lights next trip.

We usually enjoy September due to low crowds. However, it is still extremely hot! It is getting harder to pull DD10 out of school..so were planning May 2006. :sunny:

What about us folks who go more than one time/year. This past year, we went in May, June, July/August, October, and December. We now are planning a March visit.

I picked September on the poll, but we either September or October. My boyfriend's family has 2 timeshare, one is every September, the other every other October, so we switch it up each year what month we go.

Well, since I'm from New Jersey, we can only go the first week in November! :)

We have been there in June & July...too hot, humid and crowded. September, still too hot & humid. April, perfect weather, but too crowded (our upcoming April trip, we aren't going to WDW...can I say that here? ;)) Early December a couple times, great time to go to see the decorations, not too bad crowds, weather a little on the cool side, but we left here in snow/ice and came home to snow both times, so I doubt very much we will go in December again. Early November we always had great weather and the crowds aren't that bad, so I voted for November.
