What might crowds be like December 7-11?

For those of you who have been to WDW in early December in the past, I was hoping you could give me an idea of what the ride lines are like compared to other times of the year.

The guides all say that it is one of the least crowded times to go, but I have no concept of what that would be like since we have always gone at peak times. Will we need fast passes for popular rides like we usually do in the summer?

Thanks for any input.

Are not bad during that time frame. We have been going first part of Dec since 1991 and crowds have increased a little each year it seems.I think the secret is out so to speak.Still you should have short ques for most attractions,it doesn't hurt though to get fast pass for major attractions to help you do and see more in less time.We are going Dec 8th - 15th this year.Hope you have a wonderful and magical time at WDW,it is a special time to visit with all the parks and resorts decked out for Christmas.Plus all the live holiday themed shows. :goodvibes

Thanks so much! Have you eaten at LTT at Christmas time? Just wondering if it is decorated, too.

I agree with the word is out about Dec being a good time to go. Last year was pretty busy for our family. Worst Dec for us yet. (We've only gone Dec 2002-2005) The first year was awesome. No lines, best trip ever. Last year lines were long sometimes. The decorations are great. LLT is very pretty, love the tree. We are trying sept this year because we would like to find a less crowded time.

Decorated and it is awesome and would be a good choice for a sit down lunch or dinner. :goodvibes We have dined there several times on our Dec visits and really enjoyed it. :goodvibes

The last 2 years DH and I have gone the second weekend in Dec and loved it, cool if not cold weather (we are from south FL so our blood is very thin ha ha), very low crowds IMHO. The Pop Warner kids are there but the parks did not reflect that just our resort, CBR

We did Fast Pass for Soarin but the rest of the time there were no lines. The night we went to the MVMCP was the slowest...we were in Fantasyland and the CM's let us go round and round on Pooh, Peter Pan and Snow White without getting off the ride
