What may happen if VMK is saved.

Everyone is very sad due to the fact that VMK will be closing soon.

Many of us saw this coming but hoped that it wouldn't happen. But here is something to think about.

In many online games in the past, if a company no longer supports the game, but the fan base is great enough, they will keep it online, but with one catch.

What if Sulake decides to keep VMK running, but no more updates?

Basically, the game continues, but no new items are ever added, everything stays the same. This makes it so that Sulake no longer has to pay employees to make new things for VMK.

I would rather have that than have it close altogether. It's just a possibility Disney and Sulake may take with enough fan support. It's been done with other games.

What is the DIS's opinion on this?

I don't care.

Although. I've given away most of my rarest stuff, but I only want my friends. Besides, i'm happy with my autopia quest magic pins :)

Personally, I'm surprised at how easily people are willing to give away things they worked long hours for.

I personally think it's awesome, and I will probably do the same.

I just found out that Guild Wars, a current game I play, will be doing this same thing in about 2 years. It seems like all my games are trying to get away from me :scared1:

That's fine with me. It's easier for me to complete my collections if they stop adding things for me to collect :lmao:

I could go for that, :thumbsup2

Although it might stale-mate after a while, if there is no viable commerce going on. Maybe we could vote for Aengus as the mayor of our community, he seems to have a knack for inciting riots .. oops .. I mean inventing new challenges. :goodvibes

That is a billion times better than no VMK at all. I just want to be with my friends and do the quests and games in VMK! Only one question here, when you say that no new items are added, there are no new items being released but are there older items being realeased?
