What material objects are important to you?

I guess I should answer this too, huh? ;)

1. Our Wedding album and tape and other pictures
2. Any important papers having to do with the house, cars or us
3. Enough dog kibble and cookies and parakeet/cockatiel chow to get them through for a while just in case
4. The little white porceiln urn with Toby's ashes in it - since he never left my side, I couldn't leave him behind, even if it is just a 4 inch tall urn :(
5. My stuffed animals :)

Only 5?? wow that's hard to decide

1. The blanket I've had since I was a baby (like the ones babies are bundled in at the hospital). I'm saving it to pass down to future children and grand children.
2. All of my Build-a-Bear kids...just can't leave them.
3. All important documents like insurance and birth certificate.
4. My computer b/c most of our pictures are stored there and my cd collection is burned onto it.
5. Our wedding video and scrapbooking albums

If I could bring more than that I would have to include my all time favorite books and movies. Just about everything else can be replaced.

1. Photo CDs (I'm so paranoid I have a backup copy at work!:) )
2. Driver's license and important papers
3. Box of photos that I hadn't scanned yet
4. Laptop
5. Camera

Good thought topic

1) *The* Teddybear Drew (My family knows that in case of fire etc Drew must go or else they wont like life after that..)
2) Important Documents ie Birth/Death Certificates
3) Scrapbooks & photos that havent made it in yet
4) My pin collection
5) My "Memory Totes" That have my girls things, my childhood things and all the christmas ornaments

I'd need a bigger car though... -em

I only need three: the photo albums, my diploma and my checkbook. I don't get too attached to things. Clutter-free life.

I would take family photo albums and the Christmas ornaments and artwork made by my kids. That's all I took when we left before hurricane Hugo, and that's about all I had left. Everything else is stuff.

1. laptop (has my dissertation on it!!!)
2. picture albums
3. grandmother's pearls
4. purse
5. ....maybe a snack for later???

pictures
some files with our financial information
Birth certificates
If I could- my baseball collection

Besides my animals and kids. There isn't a whole lot that I couldn't live without.
The important papers, money, and jewelry to sell.

I guess pictures, my music, and a sentimental blanket. My bed would be up there, but I'd never make it out of the house with it.

1.Cell Phone with charger
2. Laptop with charger (All DS's pictures are on laptop)
3. Photo albums/CD's with pictures/8x10 of our wedding and of DS from hospital (can all of those count as one? ;) )
4. Digital camera with charger
5. Important papers (which reminds me I really need to pull all of those together in one spot!)

1. Safe with personal papers
2. Pictures
3. Christmas stuff
4. My grandmother's Spanish shawl
5. My address book

1) My engagement ring and wedding band (I lost my original band 5 years ago and I am still not over it)..not that they would get left behind, but they are my most prized material possession
2) my childrens pictures/special cards and artwork
3) my cel phone
4) my PC (obviously)
5) my journals (very personal)

family pictures
Grandmother's hope chest
Grandmother's wedding ring

I know thats not 5 but these things came to mind immediately, I figure if I have to sit hear and really think about it nothing else can be that important.
