5 night stay at OKW in July. 6 adults and 1 child. 6 ADRs with 7 'credits' being used.

I know I only have 5 to use, and I've number crunched a little, but I'm also seeing my theory being knocked down, so I'm just going to ask. HA

Here are the ADRs
50s Prime Time-D
Le Cellier-L
Cape May Cafe-D
CP-B
CRT-D
WCC-D

My thought was to pay for 50s and CP OOP because it SEEMS like that would make the most sense. Then I saw other people suggesting to pay OOP for CRT.

The way I kind of figured is for the adults
CMC is ~$38 with tax (at least it was in November when they had the same seasonal upcharge)
CP is ~$21
WCC is ~$36 with the skillet, so possibly less
LC is ~$30 with the 'experience'
50s is ~$27

So to me, paying OOP for CRT is actually going to be more since it costs almost $60. In theory....right?

The question is are you going to order something to drink and/or dessert at the other locations and did you factor that in to the prices? Also, would anyone be likely to share at any of the other restaurants? CRT is 57.19 so 28.60 per dining credit since it takes two and your drinks and desserts are included. It just depends on if your calculations for CP and 50s are correct then it would be better to pay for them OOP. CP is clearly cheaper and if people are likely to share or drder an appy for entree etc at 50s since it is a menu, then that is probably a good bet.

We almost always pay oop for the nonbuffet meals. They are the ones that give you the ability to choose what you want. So if you do 50's ... get water, split a meal or two, and split desserts. The same would go at WCC (will everyone get the skillet?) or at LC (although this is harder since it's more expensive to begin with.) Although again if you can split any of these and aren't planning drinks and desserts they tend to be way cheaper in the long run.

HOLY COW! Ugh. I got that pricing from.....well either allears or wdwinfo. WOW. Oh boy-more number crunching I guess! I wish I could get my friends to check out the menu, but they're pretty much hands off the planning. Heh. I on the other hand know exactly what I want from each place because I'm a picky eater.....thanks for the info!

Your reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table uses 2TS credits, but only costs, out of pocket $54.76 including tax and gratuity (I got that number from All Ear%s as it has been many years since I ate at CRT).

If you paid for that meal out of pocket, you would have enough credits for the other meals.

So, the question really is, could you eat at two other restaurants for less than $27.38 per person including all food, drink, tax, and gratuity?

When factoring in a sales tax of 6.5% and a recommended tip of 18% (This is Disney's number, and it should NOT be debated), this means the total cost of food and beverage should be less than $22 per person.

If you are at 50's Prime Time Buffet, you could get the least expensive entree, Dad's Meatloaf, a soda, and the least expensive dessert of Smores and come in at a total of $21.78.

If you drank waters all around, split desserts or appetizers, or shared meals then you could do it for quite a bit less.

It is possible to eat a lunch at Le Cellier for less than $22 if you order the least expensive salad or sandwich, the least expensive dessert (moose), and water, but honestly, it would be a shame to eat there and miss the mushroom filet and chocolate whisky cake which brings your meal total to a few cents shy of $35 and does not include a drink or tax.

Whispering Canyon is possible to fit under $22 if you order one of the three least expensive entrees (trout, chicken and pasta, or meat loaf) and a soda or tea. At 21.68 you would not be able to order a dessert at WCC and stay under the $22 food and drink limit.

Your best bet is to pay CRT out of pocket and then use your table service credits at the single TS restaurants.

CRT is 57.19 so 28.60 per dining credit since it takes two and your drinks and desserts are included.

But CRT is the only one that includes gratuity, so since you have not included that in your other prices, it would be more accurate to deduct it from the price you have for CRT. This then lowers the value of the per credit usage for this TS restaurant. I haven't done the math with a calculator but it may be better to pay for this one OOP after all
