What makes DVC Resorts so great?

We bought on re-sale. We toured all the DVC resorts and settled on OKW. The main reason was that if we wanted to go to Florida but take a year off from the whole Disney theme, OKW could pull that off. We didn't feel any of the other resorts could. The other reason was the size of the rooms.

We bought DVC based on the concept (similar to the discussion Dean has been having). We liked the idea of a forced vacation. We are "snobs" enough to want the deluxe accomodations because of the hotels we stay in on business travel.
We bought SSR sight unseen. We saw BWV when we looked for real (we had looked back in the day but couldn't afford it...mid-1990s). We liked it but when it came time to buy we decided that SSR fit us better...and the Disney incentives made buying from them better then doing a resale.
Look at how you vacation. Do you do parks all day? Is easy access to the resorts after a day of fun important -- so you can continue your fun? Do you do the parks and then need to wind down away from it all? The answer to these quesitons will help lead you to "buy where you want to stay."
