What makes Disneyland a happy place for you?

I think when it comes to Disneyland there are way too many reasons to name why it's so special. For me it's the smiles on everyones faces, especially the children. It's a time when you have no worries. Just laughter, amazement, butterflies and a million memories you end up going home with. Seeing the childrens faces is a sight you can never forget. In a weird kinda way it brings tears to my eyes. And whats more amazing is to think about how that was you as a child. Another memorie that makes it special is going with my papa. The first time I ever went to Disneyland was in Summer of '89 and I was 4 years old. I remeber my papa couldn't walk those long distances so we pushed him in a wheel chair. Mine and his ride was IASW. We'd ride it over && over && over. He passed about in '94 and everytime I go to Disneyland, that's the first ride that I go to. We are going in March for my son's 3rd birthday [his first time going also] and of course, that will be the 1st ride i take him too. Might as well continue the tradition huh?! && my Granny [papa's widow] will be going for the first time since '89 and we will push her in a wheelchair too It's like a whole new generation starting all over again. Anyways, some more reasons Disneyland is so special.. I love at the end of the night when the park is about to close, going to all the shops on Main St and just loading up on peanut brittle, chocolate, candy, taffy, etc. There is just something about Disneyland that makes you a kid again. Lets just say I don't act my age while Im there

Disneyland has always been my happy place. Since I was a young child.
Its the feeling of complete bliss as you walk up to the entrance, knowing that all stress is gone.
The way the sun shines on your face as you wait in line for the characters.
Its the smile on your childs face as she sees Princess Cinderella sign her book.
Its the fact that you walk down the streets of the most magical place on Earth.
Its the thought that nothing else exists but the love and fun that your family is having at that very moment.
Oh how I love Disneyland.

I have lived in So. Cal my whole life. I loved to go as a child but Disney took on a whole new meaning when I had children. I remember taking my youngest son when he was still nursing. Well those days are gone but of all my kids he loves Disney the most. Can't tell you how many times he has been (if he can afford it he will get a season pass0 and had been to WDW twice Oh by the way he will be 22 tomorrow and we are spending the day there together. I can't wait. That's what makes Disney so special for me.
