This post has probably been remade over and over again but I thought I might start one up anyway.

What makes Disney special for you?

Is it Mickey, MK, the rides, the little things or is it something else?

I love Disney because .......(you fill in the spaces :wizard: )

I love Disney because it was where I spent my honeymoon almost 2 years ago. I also love Disney because when I am there I feel like the real world just melts away and I am in my own little "happy world"! :goodvibes

I love disney because... i have a metro pcs phone and it dosent get service up there so i dont have to listen to my friends fighting or any of there problems for as long as im up there. i dont have to worry about school work or things cause im in a magical place now and not the real world. disney takes away the reality of things and puts you into like a dream world where evrything is perfect. you cant have one unhappy day in disney and thats why i love disney cause everything is magical. :wizard:

I love Disney because of the looks I see on children's faces when they are there. The look of awe at seeing Mickey for the first time or the laughing when DH gets DRENCHED on Kali River Rapids. Everyone says it but it makes it no less true: Disney is Magical.

I'm sounding like everyone else! When I'm at Disney the rest of the world just goes away! I think of nothing but the next ride or people watching or what flavor ice cream to get at Main Street! Wishes is pure beauty and magic to me. It's all another world....a true escape! pixiedust:

I love Disney because of my childrens faces as we drive thru the gates, it is a place I can just focus on enjoying my children without any outside interference and I reguvinate my self and dh without any problems of everyday life.............it is magical.

Yep...it's definitely my laughing place, too. But it's more than that. When we go, we forget all the troubles back here. No more stresses..which is why we've learned to relax while there. It truly is a magical place. The feeling I get when we drive onsite is something I just can't get anywhere else. My 2 older DD's get along better than ever, and with my DH working 2nd shift 6-7 days a week, its a great time to bond. I love seeing the excitement on my toddler's face at every turn. At the risk of sounding sappy, I honestly am having trouble putting my answer into words...it just goes beyond description :goodvibes

What makes Disney so special to me is the look on DH's face when we returned to Disney for our honeymoon.....I had never been to WDW, but DH went every year with his dad before he passed away 7 years ago...he always talked about the magic of Disney and how much he loved it...it was "their place" (he and his dad)....the look on his face when we saw the castle that first day brought tears to my eyes.....at the end of our honeymoon, DH told me that Disney had always been his place with his dad, but now, it was "our place".....it really is the Happiest Place on Earth!
