What location to request at SSR?

I'm traveling with my 6 year old. It's just the two of us and we won't have a car. We will be using the Disney bus system. This is a short trip and we may or may not make it to MK but will definitely be going to Epcot and HS. If its warm enough (going Jan 1-4 pre cruise) I'd like to swim. I'd like to be close to the counter service food options, the best pool for kids, and near the bus stop. What location should I request? I don't know anything about this resort so I have no idea. Thanks!

The Springs is the best location. It is the last bus stop to be picked up and dropped up but it is right near the pool and Carriage House! Happy planning.

It is right near the main pool which is next to the food court, check in and the spa.

Oh ok! I was looking at the pools. How far is the walk to the paddock pool from there?

The Paddock isn't too far. It is behind the Springs but you have to walk around the water that separates the two. I also like the Grandstand. It is close to the Carriage House--I like going there to grab food and refill my mug--and has a nice pool. The Paddock pool's slide is a lot of fun. No problem! Glad to help...I knew nothing about Saratoga before staying there and luckily was not too far from the Carriage House, but some people like to be tucked away and not near the main building. Happy Planning!

Hi, we stayed at SSR for the first time last Dec-Jan and only made one request: near the buses (we have children with disabilities). We got a GREAT location...Paddock, right next to pool/bus. Couldn't have got a better spot. hope you enjoy your stay!

Were you able to swim? Was it warn enough? The Paddock pool looks really fun. Do they have a splash/water sprinkler area there too?

We stayed last year at Congress Park...I liked it because we were closer to DTD and our room was very close to one of the many pools... Not sure what to ask for when we arrive in 2.5 weeks...I think I asked for Congress Park again. Any other good locations maybe near a good pool????
