What Line Length Can I Expect?

I will be going to Orlando for the last week of April and the first Week of May.

The unofficial guide to DW book says to expect crowd size on a scale of 5 out of 10 for the first 3 days then 3 out of 10 for the rest of my holiday. Unfortunantly they do not give any idea how long lines for rides will be.

Has anyone else been to Disney at this time of year and can you comment on average wait times for the headliner rides?

Thanks

Matt

I just got back, over New Years, the crowds were huge and ride lines were mostly 45-100 minutes! Crowd died down on Jan 2nd and lines were low if any. Not sure about May.

Fast passes work! They are your BEST FRIEND lol ! If big crowds ...
Get one right away for ride #1, then wait in line for ride #2. (you can only get 1 fastpass at a time, ie. its 230pm, you just got a fp for TOT for 345pm, you cant get another fp for any ride till say 350 (it says a time of the fp). After ride #2, either get a fp for something else the go to ride #2 or go right on ride #2. So its wait, use fp, wait use fp. Also, if its real busy, the fp's can run out for the entire day and night! Yep seen it happen ! But that isn't usual.

Have a blast! pg

We've gone at the busiest times (spring break, thanksgiving week) and didn't wait more than 20 minutes using fastpasses and getting to parks early. At busy times, fastpasses "run out" early on the popular rides so go to those first. Peacefulgirl is right, Fastpasses are your best friends so use them!! Do a search for fastpasses on these boards and you'll get lots uf useful info-have fun!
