Watching the Today show right now and they're saying the Reality shows are the most watched kind of TV right now.

What kind of shows do you like??


I still like sitcoms but I do watch a couple of reality shows!

Boring ones, LOL. Historical, science/nature, news, travel. Channels? PBS, A&E, History, CNN, MSNBC, TLC, Discovery, Travel, CLTV, sometimes VH1, ESPN.

I enjoy reality shows, and dramas. There aren't too many sitcoms that I like anymore. I can't stand the way the kids treat the parents and the way the parents treat eachother. Most sitcoms these days are based on the idea that the Father is an idiot and everybody gets to make fun of him.

Not to mention the fact that you can't get through a half hour without having to hear the word 'sex' or variations of the the word at least 7 times.

I like science/nature, documentaries, travel, sitcoms, cooking, one talk show (Montel Williams, I turn his show on every day, I just love him!) and Dan's favorite: Survivor! Oh! And sterling silver shows on QVC. LOL!

We're real fortunate. We receive three PBS stations in our area. "Antique Roadshow" is one of my favorite shows. So is "Victory Garden".

saffron, are all 3 of your pbs stations the same? we get two, 13 & 16, and their programs are identical.

NBC: reality show
ABC: reality show
CBS: reality show
FOX: Reality show

they need to give more options for a fair analysis.

You know most people flying to Walt Disney World for vacation, fly to Orlando.

I LOVE 20/20. I've watched that show for years. I still miss Hugh Downs

I also like debate shows like Hannity and Colmes, the O'Reilly Factor, etc.

The only two reality shows that I'll watch are Tough Enough and The Osbournes!

I do like "Survivor" and I did watch "Joe Millionaire" but I mostly like mystery drama (investigative) type shows.

CSI both of them
Without a Trace
West Wing (sometimes)

I do enjoy watching the Travel Channel and THis OLd House...ok so I am weird

No! We get the Philadelphia/Delaware PBS station and two from NJ. Sometimes the sitcoms are the same, and two of the stations air "East Enders" or whatever that soap opera is, but other than that, no, they all show very different shows. It's great!

Whatever's on when I have the time -- I'll watch some reality TV, plus sitcoms, dramas, etc. My "must see" shows would be ones like West Wing, Law and Order, CSI and ER. That, and I love watching Food TV.

I like some of the older sitcoms (Nick at Night/TVLand), don’t watch too much of anything current. I also like the daytime soaps – been watching them for years. Also, Travel Channel, Animal Planet, FoodTV and sometimes things like Justice Files. The only ‘reality’ show I’ve watched is The Osbournes and I can’t explain why; I just got sucked into it!

I really don't enjoy watching those reality programs. I tried it once and only could stand about 5 minutes.

I like "fluff" like situation comedies but I enjoy 3rd watch when I can catch it.
