BTW, I started using a sonic style brush about 6 months ago. I don't even us it all the time. Sometimes I use a regular tootbrush. Anyway, I went to the dentist a couple of weeks ago, and right away the hygienist said that she could tell I had switched to a sonic brush. .

We have been using Sonicare for the last 6-7 years, for the reason you stated- our dental hygenist has to do MUCH less scraping and cleaning at our 6 month checkups. She says the difference between sonic toothbrush users' and non is amazing. Since I started using mine, not one single cavity or other problem related to plaque, gingivitis, or tarter buildup.

Sonic here, we switched about 4 years ago and it was night and day going to the dentist. I have virtually nothing for them to clean.

The only word of caution, you have to slightly change how your brush, the worst thing you can do with a Sonic Toothbrush to your teeth is to use back and forth motion, it can actually start to wear down your teeth. Follow the instructions and use fairly light pressure.

I voted for other. I use the toothbrush the dentist gives me. Not sure what it is but makes my teethies feel super clean.

I use a regular brush, whatever is on sale.

Dh uses a sonic care half the time, the rest of the time only oral-b crossaction.
