What kind of souvenirs do you guys bring home?

They seem to have some good souvenirs for all ages. Last trip my 19 year old bought a Mickey Iphone 6 case and a mouse ears camera strap (He is studying photography in college so uses his camera a lot). // Very tasteful and cool souvenirs IMHO.

Where did your DS find the camera strap?? I would love to get one!

I bring my big WDW souvenier bag every trip and it is filled by the time we are leaving lol. I always get a couple ornaments for our Disney xmas tree. This year I want the MK and Epcot Starbucks Mugs. I always buy a shirt and hoodie, gifts for my nieces, pandora charm. I collect park pins so I always buy 4 or 5 of those. If I see a cute pair of earrings or a cute ring, I'll get it. I wish I could just buy 1 thing and call it a day but I can go crazy shopping!

Art prints, Christmas ornaments, mugs, clothing. I love Vinylmations, too. And I always try to get a snack from each country in Epcot to take home with me.

We don't get many souvenirs. The kids are allowed to pick 1 item (pretty much always choose a new stuffed animal) and I always get myself a mug. DH doesn't usually buy anything.

First trip I got a charm for my Chamilia bracelet, kids got a few things including ears. Second time we started the pin thing, DD got a resort pin form the tooth fairy so I definitely want another for this upcoming trip. I am wanting a few of the retro plates from the downtown disney store too! So nice...we bought a Christmas ornament last time and I think I will do that again. For me they are expensive but it was so nice this year pulling it out and remembering our trip. I'd id ye great not buying a shirt I saw at animal kingdom, I like the ones that don't necessarily say disney world, but have a logo of an attraction as if it were real, does that make sense?

I always get a Christmas ornament. This year we are going to get the kids postcards that they can write and mail to themselves (they are 4 and 6--we will help the four year old write hers)

We do Christmas ornaments too. We almost have an entire tree (~80%) of Disney ornaments. Usually a shirt or 2. We tried the Mickey measuring spoons but they were very inaccurate, by 10-20%.

Christmas tree ornament, 1 per visit, and we have a Tiki Hut in the rear of our property, so we look for stuff appropriate to that. We have two hand carved birds with wooden wind chimes from AK and also from there a carved African mask. We add to our shot glass collection from time to time.

I always try to get a pin from the resort we are at and a tshirt from same resort. What I've discovered about Tshirts is you better try them on though because sizes at BW may not be the same as sizes at WL.

For me - the big thing is a pin or two or three from each trip. Usually something that is dated for the year - or represents something new or special I did that trip. This last trip, for example, is the first time I did a meet and greet with Mike & Sully - so I bought a pin with Boo on it. And I went to the Flower and Garden Festival - so I got that one.

Now - I'm on a mission to collect the 4 Starbuck mugs right now, too - and I've got the first two. So - saving room in my suitcase to bring those home!

Something I can use. This time, two purses, a Dooney and Bourke and a small cross body that I used in the parks. I like the way my youngest shops. She buys something she wants to use right NOW and then uses it the whole trip. This time, a hat (she has dark hair and it soaks up the sun's rays/heat like asphalt) and a fanny pack. That kid can rock a fanny pack.

Christmas ornaments, pillow pets for the game room, magnets, stuffies, and dolls. This year I want some Pandora charms for my bracelet.

it varies by trip and what is new
But jewelry is a usual thing
pins are a must
antenna toppers if they have new ones (got 5 new ones last week)
then the rest depends on my mood....kitchen items, shirts

Where do you get the charms? I love the idea of starting a charm bracelet but I'm not crazy about the Pandora ones.

I actually have three different bracelets with them on them (I know I have a problem I wear some sort of disney jewelry every day, usually a watch) for my gold one I got a 14 c gold tink at the jewelry shop on main street years ago and a mickey. For the silver one I got a sterling tink and mickey at the same shop. I also have just a disney silver one, I bought the actual bracelet at home and just buy the cheaper charms you can find in all the shops in little bins (they are in the kids section). On the disney only one the charms all have lobster claw clasps so they can be moved around. On the gold and sterling ones, I've had the charms soldered on. The gold and sterling ones have charms from everywhere I've visited throughout my life or important moments in my life, my mom did the same thing and I actually have hers as well so I own 5 charm bracelets. My love of tink actually came from my mom's bracelet, I was born in Cucamonga and they went to DL all the time, she had a tink on hers and when I was a little girl I loved to go through all the charms and tink was my fav.I buy gold or silver according to what I can find where I am, some countries you can only find gold, some silver.

Hmmm let's see....I always have to go into the Christmas Shop either in DHS or at DTD and buy a few ornaments for the tree, I love the Disney earings (not the expensive ones though), I always have to get a Alex and Anni bracelet....I am more into the icons and things like that rather then the character ones, if I see a T shirt that I really like, I will buy it, I am also a huge Disney Dooney and Burke fan so if I see something that catches my eye (either a wristlet or a cross body bag) I may get one. Speaking of Dooney and Burke, I saw a glimpse of the new styles that came out and I am in love with one of them (the one with the icons and rides and such), told DH that when we are there in October, I am going to have to get one (I'm thinking the cross body)...thankfully he feeds my obsessions :rotfl:.

I like blankets, bags (like backpack or tote), Pandora charms and hoodies. I like ones with the year on them. My kids and MIL like to buy pins. We are DVC and go often and still we buy souvies. The 2 Xmas trips we took I got an ornament though by Dec, they were out of current year and put out the next year's ornaments...dumb!!!!

I love the idea of buying some souvies ahead and having the kids wake up to a new one each morning. We're doing Disney a little different this time. Oldest DS has his own place now, and his job doesn't allow him to go when we're going, so DS12 is really lamenting not having his big brother with him for this trip. At the same time, he's getting older too, so plushies and such do not really appeal to him now. So I'm trying to think of ways to make this trip special for him. Any suggestions for things that might appeal to a 12 year old boy?

I always get a coffee mug and a refrigerator magnet. Last trip I got an adorable Mickey keychain that I love!

I buy a Mickey Ears ornament for my Mickey Christmas tree. And the kids get a special pin, usually one that we put off buying and put off buying...I go back and get it and surprise them with it at Christmas. :santa:The kids have gift cards so they get to spend it one whatever they want...stuffed animals or tshirts or whatever. Last visit, our DD picked a beautiful snow globe with her money.

I love those topsy turvy dolls. Last year I got Ariel/Aurora. This year I am hoping to get Anna/Elsa. I also like key chains. I usually get a new key chain when we go. Its a nice memory to look at everyday when I see it on my keys. This year we are also going to look in the Mickey's Pantry store at DTD and see about getting some Mickey pot holders. Plus my kids usually get some sort of toy whether its a ball or a car or a stuffed animal. Usually 1 think per park to kind of represent that certain park.

We go with what seems to be a recurring theme...Christmas ornaments and trading pins!

This year I think we're going to end up bringing home a truckload of things...Momento Mori wasn't open when we were there last August, and I need more Haunted Mansion in my life (to go with my pins, my lanyard, and my custom Minnie ears made from fabric depicting the stretching room portraits. I have a problem, LOL!!)!! I also love the new items themed to the Tower of Terror.

Regrets from last summer - not buying the Wilderness Lodge throw pillow and long sleeved t-shirt (I got the magnet and a mug though!).
