I think I broke mine this morning! (Probably from it never being used and now I can't stay off it! Must have went into shock or something?:p)

Anyway, I really want to buy a digital one, but I am not sure what kind to get...any suggestions?? I would appreciate any help! :)

Thanks!

I used to say that I had a "lying,no good, sassafrassin ^%$*&@# scale!!

Then I found you folks, and I have "a very wise and noble" scale!

:p

I have a Tanita.

I researched them with Consumer Reports and they came up as the most accurate, although they start at the $50 price range. (I got the lowest range) It measures to the half pound and also can read body fat although I don't use that feature often, since the research I did said the body fat readings are far less accurate.

I have a Tanita too...got it a drugstore.com and it also measure Body Fat...I don't like the scale much lately, but that is my fault no the scales :(

John! That's what I was going to say!

lol!

You have come to the right place (or I have)! I bought a fancy and expensive digital scale last year and the thing just broke last week. In order not to make the same mistake again, I did a lot of research on bathroon scales and found one that is excellent and has a very low price ($19.88 at Walmart) and it takes a 9 volt battery. The Taylor Upscale model #9820T Electronic Strain-Gauge. Check this link:

Plain old $5ish one from Target. It's the kind that has the dial that zips around in a circle. We had cheap digital one and it never settled on a weight! ;)

I have a set of doctors scales. I don't know what else to call them.LOL There they look just like the ones at the dr's office anyways i ordered them from a home healthcare place about 2 years ago. No doubt those babies want lie to you!

I have a digital HealthOMeter that I bought from K-Mart for about $30. I have had it for over two years now and not had any problems.

I think my scale is a Homedic brand. It is like a doctor's office scale. I want to get a scale like glo has so I can measure my body fat.

Well...perhaps want is too strong of a word, I'm planning to get a scale like glo has :) Yep, that's more accurate ;)
