Should have asked this yesterday. But I was wondering if anyone has seen any good prices on Finding Nemo - the DVD? I think that I will be buying at least 2 copies. :)

TIA

Hi,

Usually around here Walmart is the cheapest price on new DVD's.

However, I couldn't get over there yesterday and picked up Nemo at Target for $14.99 and then I used $2. coupon on the entertainment book, too.

I don't know if that's agood price or not.

It's been so COLD here I don't feel like running around to all the stores to find out.

herc.

I bought mine at Walmart yesterday for $15.87. Price was the same for VHS or DVD.

Mary @ Mousesavers says you can get the DVD at Circuit City for $14.99 plus free shipping, sounds like a good deal if you don't need it right away.

Thanks herc and hegfam!

I will be looking at Target and Wal-mart later this week. (DH's car is not running right now, and he is using mine. )
Perhaps I will take a look at Circuit City. If there is free shipping, I might as well see if any of my rewards places give points for shopping there. :)

I am sorry that it is so cold where you are herc. We have been so lucky and have had some BEAUTIFUL sunny, warm Indian Summer weather for the last week - temps in the 70's during the day and 50's at night. Today is the last day of that though. :( Back to 50's starting tomorrow. I can only imagine what it is like in Minnesota.

Blockbuster has it on sale for 12.99

I was wondering 2 things...

1. To hercamore - What $2 entertainment book coupon did you use? I don't see one in my book? THanks.

2. Has anyone purchased it at Best Buy and used McDonalds best buy monopoly bucks to buy it? I wondered if there were any exclusions on new releases and using the Best buy bucks. This is my plan.

Thanks.

Blockbuster 12.99 is with a DVD trade in.. not just a purchase.

Most places here are $14.87 at WalMArt and 14.99 Target.
I haven't checked Sam's yet. they are ususally cheaper than Wal Mart.

My dh picked up the vhs version yesterday for the girls at our local Kroger supermarket. With your Kroger card he got the movie, a full size box of movie style popcorn, 6 of those punch drinks in the plastic bottles with screw off platic tops sorry don't know the brand but it was 14.99! A real deal for all of that. The kids had a fit and watched it this morning while having the drinks and popcorn!

If you pre purchased Nemo at the Disney store pick it up before Monday...They give out a coupon for $5 off any video or DVD except Lion King and Sleeping beauty, but the coupon expires on Monday. I used mine to get another copy of Nemo for a gift. They also gave a coupon for$20 off $75 good 12/1-12/7. There are many things on sale there too including snow globes!

I just read on CNN.com that retailers may run out of copies of Nemo by this weekend. Apparently 8 million copies were sold on the first day alone and only 25 millions copies were shippes so the demand may exhaust the supply. The story said that Disney was working to get more copies to retailers but that they might not arrive before some stores ran out.

Just an FYI for those waiting to purchase the movie.

To: pamluvsdisney, Target has a page of small square tearout coupons in the ent. book. One of the coupons is $2. off a dvd or cd there.

Beth, I am so glad someone is getting lovely weather. We have an awesome fall, but now it has turned really cold (l8 tonight).

We are way below average for this time of year, so I'm sure things will turn around.

herc..

WOW! Those are great prices!! I bought on impulse when I was at Albertson's yesterday: $19.99 for the DVD. I guess I should have waited until my Target or Costco run...but then again, if CNN is right, they might be sold out by then.

My boyfriend bought one from Best Buy yesterday for $14.95....and you receive a free cd case with it; his has Bruce the shark on it.

I brought on at Walmart on Tuesday for $14.84 (DVD)
I also saw at our Target had it for $14.99.

Our Walmart had 4 HUGE displays for just Finding Nemo DVDs and VHSs. But when I went to check out the cashier made a comment that she has since alot of Finding Nemo's go by today and this was in the morning hours still!!!!

I am hoping some store (Best Buy?) has it really cheap the day after Thanksgiving. Last year they had Beauty & the Beast for only $11.xx (can't remember the exact price) I picked up two extra copies to sell on Ebay in a few years. Those out of print Disney movies goes like hot cakes on Ebay!!
I am hoping to see a great DVD sale like that this year after Thanksgiving.

Is Best Buy The big Electrical store behind The Florida Mall Somewhere?

Any Help?

I paid $29 for mine through the Disney catalog but I wanted the lithos, pin and plush that came with it.

Our local grocery store has the dvd advertised for $19.99 but if you buy some dole fruit snacks and orvilles popcorn (both of which I'll use a double cpn. for and I would buy the food anyway) they will knock $10 off the price and I am looking into another $2 from Mrs. Fields cookies. I have to go to another store that has the cpn. in the pkg. I would buy the cookies anyway so with all the snacks the movie should be really cheap for us.

There is a similar deal running at the Stop and Shop chain in Greater Boston. At the time you purchase the Nemo DVD for $19.99, $10 is taken off at the register if you also buy a combination of 6 Dole fruit bowls and/or Orville Redenbacher popcorn and/or Danimals yogurt and/or certain cereals. The best part is that we can send in the special Nemo UPCs on the popcorn boxes to get another $5 off the DVD! That means our final price was $4.99 plus tax.
