My dh owns a vendor route, delivers bread, so we get all the free bread we want! And since his friends are all vendors too for different companies my grocery bill isn't so bad. Whenever a new product comes out my family gets to try it out. Since I have 6 kids at home they use my family as the "test market"

I forgot-DH is also a firefighter, the downside is he does it for free(volunteer). LOL

But we do get a 20% discount on our Nextel phone service, and we get discounts at PC Richards(electronics and appliances), we've gotten $$$ knocked off our car purchase because the sales manager saw my husband's FD shirt and his(the manager's) Dad was a firefighter, we've gotten free things thrown in from various stores when we made a purchase if they see that DH is a firefighter.
After a big fire here, a dry cleaner gave all town firefighters free dry cleaning for a month and now it's 10% off.

Wow, so many of you get nice extras!!!! I feel really cheated right now because I really only work for mediocre pay and our healthcare is expensive. This just adds more fuel to the fire so to speak.

I get to sell my own house without paying a listing agent's commission and when I purchase one, I get 3% of the sale. Pretty good!

DH gets various firefighter discounts as well.

I work at Barnes & Noble. I get 30% list price on books, magazines and everything else but Music and DVD's, I get 20% off on them. A couple times a year we get 40% off on everything. 50% off in Barnes & Noble Cafe's. 20% at GameStop. We can also borrow hard cover books for up to 2 weeks.
