What kind of Halloween t-shirt are you wearing for the MNSSHP?

I was thinking of dressing up in costume for our upcoming MNSSHP, but I decided against it. My kids will be dressing up (non Disney costumes), but I'm thinking of wearing some kind of Halloween t-shirt. I started looking for one, but I haven't found anything I like.

For those who are wearing Halloween t-shirts, what does your t-shirt look like and where did you buy it?

TIA!!

I made our family tshirts off of the DiSign board here!:goodvibes Look on that board, if you haven't and you will find oodles of images from the very talented designers. There is a specific thread of MNSSHP and Halloween designs, also. If you have never made a transfer tshirt, it is very easy, and everyone on that board is so helpful!

As far as ready-made shirts, I found a very cute one at WalMart last week, but they're all long-sleeved. I think Target had some short sleeved ones but they were kind of blah, not as cute as their kids' shirts.

Hi! Go to http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1394589 look through the thread and pick out the design you like the best (you can opt to have it personalized for you by the DISigner), go buy a plain t-shirt that would look good with the design you choose, print out the design on Dark T-Shirt transfer paper (get the one that includes parchment paper...it's easiest), iron the transfer onto your shirt and voila! You have your very own MNSSHP t-shirt (and bag, booklet, whatever you choose) - and if you get lucky you'll be the ONLY one that day wearing it! Believe me, you will get hooked when you go through what the people have designed (then you'll have the problem of deciding WHICH t-shirt to wear!)! It's truly amazing!!! :cool2: Good luck!

I am in the same boat....we leave tomorrow and I sitll dont know what to wear on Thursday 11...I saw the other day those "Good Life " shirts ya know the ones that say Life is Good kind of stick guys...they have a cute orange long sleeve and reg. "T" shirt..with a little pumpkim guy on the front I am thinking getting that......Dont really want to do the whole dressing up thing....ya never know about the weather....either way I am sure it will be FUN!!!!!

Thanks! I didn't know about the Dis site with the designs. I guess I have something to do at work this weekend!! lol.

I've never done a t-shirt transfer. I hope it's idiot-proof. I'm assuming I can buy the thsirt transfer paper at a Michaels or some other craft store.

I went to our local Disney store and bought my family,(DH, DS, DS,)shirts. They were black with a big Jack on the front. Mine had Sally on the front. We got along of looks and good comments. We seen alot of families with matching T-shirts on. It looks really great on the photos!

I bought my transfer paper at Wal~Mart -- it's cheaper than Michael's. Buy the one that says Dark T-Shirt Transfer it is June Tailor brand. Just make sure it says it has parchment paper. That way you don't have to do the whole 'mirror image' -- reverse picture -- thing. Don't use an iron board. I set my shirt on the counter and press down evenly on the whole design first just like the instructions say (with the parchment paper--remember to peel the back off before ironing). When you wash your shirt first do NOT use any fabric softener (liquid or sheet). I'm an idiot -- I did it! If I can do it anyone can! Good luck! They are soooo cool. And trust me, you WILL become addicted!

You can get the dark transfer paper at Michael's along with pretty cheap tshirt, esp. if they're on sale this weekend. The only problem I had was the first transfers I printed out looked faded, and it took me a while to figure out how to make the computer print them out brighter. If you print your own pictures at home, you probably already know this, but I'll share anyway!

When you save the image off the thread, it goes to my pictures. Open in my pictures and look at the bottom of the image at all the little icons; click I think the second from the right(it will say "opens image for editing" or something similar.) This will open the image in paint. Click onto file; then down on print. Click on "fine" print on inkjet paper. Then click on properties. Do not do bi-directional printing (makes it less bright). Click next box down and the color and brightness box comes up. Make the color as dense as possible, move brightness and sharpness over a notch. Go down to color and move red, green, and blue over to +8. Then click ok on everything.

Also, check print set-up, because some of the images even at 100% are very small on the computer. You will have to blow them up to 400% even to make them page-sized. Just check first.

Hope this helps! If it's TMI, just ignore it! Good luck!
