what kind of coffee filters for the VWL coffee pot?

The coffee they give you comes in its own pouch you won't need one. If you are buying/bringing your own get regular 12 cup coffee cup filters.

We take our Mr. Coffee basket type filters which work fine in the in-room machines. Not sure if they are Mr. Coffee brand or not, never really looked. We also take our own coffee and then pick up some half and half. If you are going to have coffee several times in a day, you'll need more sweetener than they leave in the baskets.

We take the coffee that is already in pouches. Very easy when traveling.
