Not sure of the "brand" but it is a prefilled filter coffee pouch for a large 10-12 cup pot. I'm a coffee nut and my personal opinion is that it is not that good. I like my coffee on the richer side. I always bring my own Mr. Coffee basket style paper filters and my Starbucks ground coffee. You do get enough of the prefilled filters to make one pot per day until your trash and towel service and then they will replenish it.
When I was at the Kona Cafe last month, my server told me that all coffee served at WDW was Nescafe except for the (outstanding) Kona and Kona/Columbian blend served at the Kona Cafe. This is due to Nescafe's support of Epcot (The Land.) I'm surprised the filter packets in the DVC resorts are not Nescafe.
You will absolutely want to bring your own, or go to the local Starbucks and get a pound once you arrive. We just moved the coffee in the room aside so we could make room for our favorites from home.
There is a two-slice toaster that's wide enough for a bagel (which we bought next door to the Starbucks).
I like the coffee, but then again it might be the water. Our water at home is very hard well water with lots of minrals and I always love the coffee they leave in the room. But then again isn't everything better at Disney?
