Do you like and have or get? Real or artificial? If fake is it green or another color? Do you like a very full dense tree or one that is not so full?
I get a real one, my favorite is a white pine (hard to find here though) and I don't like it to be full, I like more open spaces on the tree. My most favorite tree though was the one I had about 3 years ago. My daughter was out playing and dragging a branch around. Jokingly I said hey we can use that as our Christmas tree! When no one was home, I brought the branch in, stuck it in a tree stand and decorated it and strung purple lights on it. I thought it looked beautiful. My kids dubed itb the ghetto tree, and anyone that came in thought I was nuts (well that's not such a strech LOL). I did break down and get a regular tree, but I started a tradition with my branch tree. Well I gotta go, I have to find a good branch!

Fake & green

I like to breathe....:D

We have a fake tree and it is green...My DD gets too sick around a real one, but I like the fakes better...when you put an ornament on, the limb doesn't fall to the ground!! :p

I like my Chrisams tress like I like breast "fake and big"

Trees?

We have an artificial tree. I like the smell of the real ones, but I hate the mess and the prickly fingers.

Both - We got our first real one last year and I loved it! It was so huge, it almost touched our vaulted ceiling. We got a spruce, I just love the old fashioned look of them. We even strung tons of cranberries for garland.

We also have a 5 ft. skinny fake one and 3 other fake ones that are smaller and vary in size. I would love a couple more unique artificial ones to put throughout my house. You can never have to many trees :D

LOL Jason...
We have a artificial tree too...:)

Ours is an artificial one, green, pretty full and big. DH wraps the lights around the branches, instead of just laying them on the branches, it makes it look soooooooo pretty!!! We have 1200 lights on the tree and by wrapping the branches it just gives it more depth, really, really pretty looking but takes time to do it and he grumbles all the while. :) We also have two small tabletop trees that are lighted and decorated as well. Gee, Thanksgiving is only 3 weeks away, and the tree goes up that night!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Fake and green with 3,000 lights on it.
Love the real ones, but they make me sick too.

It should be interesting putting up the tree this year with two 7-month old kittens. ;)

My famil,ly says I buy the Charlie Brown Tree every year. I think I do. I like to have some open space to hang ornaments. The rest of the family likes a full Douglas Fir. I got a fake one for the family room now so I get to have the Charlie Browniest tree starting Black Friday. It is a ton of fun for the family to see what I can make out of the Ugliest tree in the forest but apparently the ugliest tree lives in a box in the attic.

Definitely REAL. I had a fake one when the kids were little (made life a little easier), but now that they're older we've had real the past 5 years or so. We take the van so that we can bring the dog, a thermos of hot chocolate and some snacks and go to this out of the way, very uncommercialized farm that we found(hope it stays that way!) and cut down our own. I like them full, but not fat, and shapely. I know it's a little messy taking it down, but I think so worth it. I love the smell and the character, if you will, of a real tree.

I used to use real trees........ love them....... but with the kids being so little and time being a preiemum (sp) we opted for a fake tree last year....... one with the lights already on it! :eyeroll: It isnt as bad as I thought, much easier to take the orniments off of it, no need to water it..... a lot less hassle......

I do add 3 or 4 more strands of lights (gotta have some purple on it! LOL)

When the kids are older, we will go back to a real tree..... some of my fondest Christmas memories are the tree hunting excursions......... to find that prefect tree...... :teeth:

Real! I love the "soft" trees...can't remember the exact name. :) My DH doesn't really understand why I insist on having a real tree when it's just the two of us...probably because he's the one that has to drag it inside, put it up, take it down, and drag it out! LOL! My dogs always drink the water in the stand, so we can't put anything in it to help preserve the tree longer.

I also have a fake mini tree that I put on the table w/ all of my mini disney ornaments from Hallmark. :)

I have to have a real tree, my Dad lives on a farm, the same one that he grew up on and he has been selling Christmas trees since he was a teenager, I started helping out as soon as I could walk, it would just seem wrong to have a fake tree.

I’d love to have a real tree, but I usually don’t bother with it – or even a big artificial tree. Instead, I have a bunch of small ones and put them in different rooms. But, since I love the smell of a real tree, I usually buy a real wreath or spray. When I used to have a real tree every year, I think the variety I liked was a Douglas Fir.
