Okay my fellow Canadians I need your advice. My DH wants me to add a case of beer to our garden grocer order but we don't know what kind to buy, any suggestions? Here at home he drinks Canadian.

My DH prefers to drink Budweiser or Corona when he is down there. I'm not sure what garden grocer has but we figure when in Rome.

Does garden grocer sell beer? I could never find it on their site....

Garden Grocer doesn't have beer on the site but they will add it to your order if you call them or add it in the special notes section.

DH likes Samuel Adams and there are several varieties. We've had GG pick this up with our grocery order and tetrapaks of wine as well. We find the tetras keep wine better because you can get most of the air out. We're so tired when we get back to the room that we would never drink a whole bottle in one night.

I'll echo the Sam Adams comment. The original and summer ale are both excellent!!!! :thumbsup2

Sorry, it's a little OT but doesn't in crack you up when in the states you see Molson Canadian and it says 'imported' on the label ???? :rotfl2:

Hubby drinks Canadian here and Bud there.

Personally, I say get the Bud Light Lime - I love that stuff!! But hubby doesn't like it.

Correct that Garden Grocer will deliver alcohol if you add to notes page. We needed to provide proof of age.

We drink Bud as well when we're there. I'm not a fan though of their beer, too watery for me compared to back home, but Bud usually does the trick.

I usually get a couple six packs of stuff I can't get at home. Some suggestions are:

Sam Adams Summer Ale
Blue Moon
Fat Tire

There are also standby's like:

Corona
Sol
Miller Genuine Draft

Have a great trip!
