What kind of backpack?

What kind of backpack do you use in the parks?

We used a "regular back pack" on our last trip (two shoulder straps, one main compartment, and a small front pocket that we kept tickets/room key in). We (DH & I) normally haul around ponchos, a camera, wallets/$, sometimes a jacket, lip balm, and some water.

I'm thinking about getting something new for our next trip (either Jan or March 2006), and I would welcome some suggestions.

I also have a small backpack. We just carry a few things with us and rent a locker for the other stuff I think we may need later (jacket, extra batteries for fans, etc...)

Is it true that you cannot use the backpacks with wheels around the parks? We have a disney one that we bought in the Disney Store and were planning to let the kids drag it around the Park whenever my shoulder got to sore!

I love my Vera Bradley backpack and I plan on bringing that to WDW, but I'm curious about riding the coasters with the backpack. I mean, with normal rides I can keep it on my lap or at my feet, but I don't know what to do with a backpack while I'm riding Space Mountain or TOT or RnRC.

We use a one shoulder "healthy back" bag from LLBean. It is roomy enough for all our stuff, but not too big (kids are older, don't need the diapers, extra clothes, etc.). DH just sticks his foot through the shoulder strap for some rides, but for the big rides, this ride chicken gladly holds the bag!! LOL!

Just keep it at your feet on the coasters and TOT- I usually loop it around my foot. It won't fall out.
