I asked (and begged) about e-ride nights only to have what seems like a form letter sent back. I made it clear I wanted ro know about any future e-night because I have done them and enjoyed them in the past....here was the response:

Dear Matthea,

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

One of the ways in which we attempt to maintain a happy and unique experience in our theme parks is
to continually evaluate the various aspects of our operation and make changes at times. While we
realize that it is impossible to please everyone at all times with the decisions that are made, it
is always our goal to provide a quality "show" for our Guests.

As you are aware, on specified nights, the Magic Kingdom® Park remains open for three additional
hours exclusively for resort guests who have purchased and redeemed special "Magic Kingdom E-Ride
Nights" tickets.

Price: Adults: $12 ($12.72)__Children (3-9) $10 ($10.60)

The nine attractions scheduled to operate during "Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights" are: Space Mountain,
Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, The Haunted
Mansion, Astro Orbiter, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, and The Country Bear Jamboree. Select
dining and merchandise locations will also be open.

(All Attractions Subject to Rehabs & Other Changes)

Only Walt Disney World Resort guests who are using multi-day or annual passes for admission to the
theme parks are eligible to purchase and redeem "Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights" tickets. Tickets may
only be purchased at Walt Disney World Resort Guest Services Desks, including the Walt Disney World
Dolphin, the Walt Disney World Swan, Shades of Green and the Downtown Disney Area Hotels.

Please note that the "Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights" ticket does not provide admission into the Magic
Kingdom Park; it simply allows guests to remain in the park for three extra hours. It must,
therefore, be used in conjunction with the admission media previously mentioned. Guests must
exchange their "Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights" tickets for wristbands at locations inside the Magic
Kingdom Park.

For more information about this event, please inquire at your resort's Front Desk or Guest Services
location upon arrival.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us.

Please include your full name, E-Mail address, and reservation number if applicable on all
correspondence.

Thank you!

Sincerely

Vicky James

Sort of evasive. According to Deb Willis' AllEars Network, there are no e-nights scheduled as yet for 2004. Perhaps they're not ready to let the world know e-nights are gone for good. Maybe, if you are lucky, they will have some scheduled by the time you go again.

I also received an e-mail regarding e-nights. My e-mail was as follows:

I Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

At this time, the dates and times have yet to be established for E-Rides for the month of July.
Please check back with us for further updates on the event.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us.

Please include your full name, E-Mail address, and reservation number if applicable on all
correspondence.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Gail Williams

Maybe it is just who gets and responds to your correspondence!

Melissa,

Thank you for the reply to my email about E nights.

Unfortunately, I still don't know if there will be any during our stay in
June.

Can you tell me if there are any scheduled yet, or, if not, when will the
schedule come out?

Thank you,

Sharon

thanks for sharing your emails too. I have a sinking feeling that they're gone for good, but maybe if we keep up the fight we will be able to talk them into keeping them :)

I guess I never paid attention before but how far in advance do they schedule e-nights? Didn't they get rid of these before or was it only the EMH? E-nights are great. I hope, hope, hope they have some scheduled for July!

 Perhaps the person in charge of putting those little copyright symbols in e-mail letters could also take on the E-night schedule responsibility. They don't seem to miss a single one of those:rolleyes:
