I'm not sure which forum to post this in, but here goes...

We (2 adults, 1 child) got the free dining plan the last two years, but we have annual passes. I know we each got one day passes on our "key to the world" cards because we had to purchase some sort of ticket for the free dining package and that was the cheapest to get. Now, my dilema is, what kind of tickets exactly did we get??? I know for sure they are one day, but are the hoppers or one-park? I did not pay for any extras on the tickets. I assume the tickets are still good since we never used the cards to enter the parks (we used our annual passes). I have a friend at work who wants to buy the tickets, but I need to tell her exactly what kind they are. Will her family have a problem using them since they have our names on them? Has anyone had these kind of tickets and gone back at another time to use them? Or given them to someone else to use? Thanks for any help you can offer!:thumbsup2

Chances are good that you have 1-day base tickets that do not include park hopping. Will you be returning to WDW anytime soon? Will you be buying APs? If so, just keep the tickets and apply them to your next AP purchase. That's what we did last year, and will do again this year. If your co-worker wants to buy them, they really wouldn't be a good value for her if she is going for more than one day as the price per day goes down the more days you buy, so the tickets you have are actually the highest price per day. It would be okay if she could use them to upgrade to a ticket with more days and/or park hopping, but it might be iffy since they have your names on them.

The basic was a one day, no hopping option. I believe it's worth about $60. I'll find out in a few weeks when I use mine to upgrade to our new seasonal APs.

The ones that show up if you go into the Disney website and set up a package with 1 day tickets they are about $71 for adult and $59 for a child. The ones you have will probably worth a little less. When we upgraded my DGD's ticket this year they asked for ID as we were changing it from an expiring pass to non expiring one. I don't know if they would ask for ID to compare to the names on the tickets you already have.
