What it looks like to be airlifted off the ship

Was looking thru YouTube for cruise videos (really miss cruising) and found this video posted 8yrs ago of someone being airlifted off the ship. I found it interesting and wanted to share.

I'm surprised to see this, I wonder if it was actual Spa staff that took the video. We were on the Fantasy Oct. 2019 having lunch in our cabin, a very forward cabin, I believe it was 7002 but I'd have to go look it up to be 100%. There was a knock on the door and two of the officers were standing there, they requested us to leave our cabin immediately. There were several others knocking on other cabin doors. They told us that there was going to be a med-vac and because of the possibility of something going wrong all forward cabins needed to be cleared. The told us it was routine when there needed to be a med-vac. We had to leave and there were people posted so no one could go back to the cabins.
I get it, it has to be very dangerous for this type of evacuation. This is why I'm surprised someone was able to take this video. It is interesting though.

We were on a carnival cruise years ago and there was a medical emergency. We were off the coast of mexico. The helicopter flew in and picked up the passenger. We were allowed to be on deck and watch the whole thing.

Wonder if Disney treated the aircrew to a meal later. Almost 50 years ago I was part of a USAF helo crew that hoisted a crewman with a bleeding ulcer off a cruise ship with name of Royal Viking Star, almost 200 miles at sea off Oahu, HI. After the ship docked in Honolulu, the cruise line hosted everyone involved to a steak dinner onboard, tours of the ship, a small album with pictures of the pickup, and a collection of ship mementos like cuff links. By everyone, I mean everyone from the helo, the Coast Guard C-130, and the teams manning radios at home base.
