What is your temperature cut off for visiting the water parks?

Daytime low of 80.

Yes, there is a reason I am moving back to Florida. ;-)

For pool time, I'm willing to tolerate a lower air temp. But paying for a water park ticket, I need it to be on the warm side for air even if I am wet. I am willing to tolerate 80 degrees for the kids, but I may not be playing much.

I actually think waterparks are great when its in the mid 50s to low 60s.... because there are no lines. We went one day in early september up here (in MA) and it happened to be cloudy and fairly cool. We loved it.

Yeah, I think it totally depends on where your from. Northeners will swim at much lower air / water temperatures than southerners. (It's why we won the war. :lmao:)

Hitting the swimming pool is different from the water park. We've been in the pools in the evening at the resorts when it was < 60 F outside. I wouldn't go to a waterpark like that. Probably below 70 F would be my limit. Our neighbors daughter and friends were in her pool recently and the WATER temp was about 60 F. Too cold for me! (and our daughter, too.)

One thing I never realized until we went in 2011. We went to TL on the one rainy day on our trip, it was also relatively cool 70 - 75 F and also raining. However, all the water at TL is actually heated, so though the air was cool, the water was 80-85 on all the rides. We were at that park with <1000 people there all day. It was absolutely one of my favorite days ever a WDW.

Coldest water park day we did was 78 & cloudy in Wisconsin Dells. It was tolerable, but borderline.

Of course that was also July and the rest of the country was having record breaking heat. 2 days prior, it was 99 when we left home. So, 78 in July doesn't feel like 78 in say November :goodvibes

Well never been to the water parks, but for me to go on the water rides (except Splash Mountain, I always go on that) is around 75.

We actually swam back in 2010 at Coronado springs, and it was only 65* out. The lifeguards said that if it were to drop to 60* then contractually they would have had to shut the pool. They were all in red sweat suits and jackets, pretty comical. Also my twins loved the slide soo much that they kept wanting me to go over n over. After getting in n out 3 or 4 times , it got cold enough from the pool to the top of the slide that I had to let them go by themselves. I stayed in the pool from the neck down, which was perfect. Head was a lil chilly though. Lol

I'm hoping for at least 75* this nov. So that we can use our PAP for 1 day at least.:confused3

I was there for my annual December trip that year and that week I think 65 was the warmest it got. I remember at least half the week waking up to frost on the car.

It has to be at least in the high 70s for me. Its fine to be in the water when the air temps are low. But I refuse to sit and shiver in my wet bathing suit when I get out.

I'll swim at the resort when the air temps are very low - I know I can make a mad dash for my room when I'm done.
