What is your plan for the day you attend MNSSHP?

We are planning a resort pool day, then eat a late lunch before arriving at MK around 3:30 to attend MNSSHP. How do you plan your day before MNSSHP? Do you eat a late breakfast, late lunch or eat after getting in the park at 4:00? I was thinking of late lunch around 2:00 at WC, then going to MK for MNSSHP. I also considered trying for an early BOG dinner around 4:15 or 4:30, but not sure I want to eat up party time at BOG, and would also require a late breakfast somewhere to hold us over until the early dinner. What has worked better for you when attending MNSSHP?

Last year was our first time at MNSSHP. We did a park in the morning, not a super early start & pretty leisurely pace and we went back to our resort early afternoon and relaxed for a couple of hours and got our costumes on. We were back at MK for 4:00 and then had a 5:00 ADR at LTT that we were done at 6:00, which gave us an hour before the party actually got started. If we get a party on the dates we are there this year, I will likely follow a very similar pattern although I may change up my arrival time at MK to either a bit earlier (we have hoppers so this is an optino) or a bit later because there was a huge rush of people right at 4:00pm entering the park.

We do a 3:00 lunch (usually The Plaza) and then just snack throughout the party. We tend to get in line early for one of the big character meets, so I avoid a TS meal after 4 on party days.

So far, we're planning to sleep in then do brunch at Trail's End (we're staying in a cabin at FW), then maybe go play mini golf at WinterSummerland, then come back and get ready for the party. We'll head over to MK in time to get in at 4pm, and I figure we'll just do counter service somewhere for dinner while we're there, unless we end up making our evening meal over the course of several snacks. I just don't want to dedicate too much party time to a sit-down meal. :)

We are planning on a half day at Hollywood Studios and lunch at Hollywood & Vine for the Minnie Seasonal meal, then back to the resort to rest for a while and get changed. Then we will head to the party when the kiddos seem rested and ready to go for the night. We will probably just snack through dinner at the party since I don't want to spend the party time at a restaurant.

Breakfast at our hotel at O'Hana that morning, then chill out at the pool for most of the day, grab a late lunch/early dinner QS, then head to the party. We will just snack if need be at the party.

Our first MNSSHP we got reservations at Tony's (I know the food is gross) for the parade start time and we were lucky enough to be seated outside so that when the parade started, we got a great view. Our DD was 3 and it was a perfect spot for her to see the parade. Our party is too big this year to try to work that out again.

We're usually in the park the morning of the party, but if we're not, we usually have a little bit of a sleep in, eat a slightly later breakfast, lunch/snack, and then while we get ready at the hotel, do a QS dinner from the food court.

If you're getting to NSS right at 4, we usually use that time to meet any characters who are out during the day who relate to our costumes, grab some food (as everywhere is still open, and most places close during the party) then jump in line for say, Jack & Sally.

We then munch on our trick or treat candy throughout the night, or hit up Casey's while waiting for fireworks/the parade, though crowds are usually high in the few places that are open!a

DD (8) and I sleep in just a bit, book an ADR for a 9 or 9:30 character breakfast, use our 3 daily FP+ at whatever park we're in for breakfast, leave the park by 1 and head back to the resort for an hour or so of pool time. Get our costumes on and be at the MK gate by 4pm, then stay until they throw us out :teeth:

What we have done the last two times we did the Christmas Party was a late breakfast around 10:30 or so, then the day at the pool/resort. We then shoot for being at the MK gates about 3:45. We do attractions we have fast passes for until about 6:00 and then eat a QS dinner so we are ready to do party exclusive things starting right at 7.

We do an early lunch reservation and then our kids have always napped until like 3:30 then we walk over. Our oldest will be 6 though so she and DH might go ahead to MK a bit earlier since she don't nap anymore.

It has been an easy day for us. Usually a pool day lay around until early afternoon then we did a tea at the Grand Floridian (DH and myself), filled up on caffeine, then went over at 4 to get into the party. We were full and happy from the tea and just had the snacks provided at the party, it was a great day and we made it the whole time!

Im with Disneyhardin. That always makes for a perfect daypirate: Very relaxed and you get to enjoy the party.

Before MVMCP we slept in, went to the Contemporary, Poly, and GF to explore (refilled our mugs at each resort!), then took the boat and ate lunch at WC around 2:00, which is what you are suggesting. Worked out great for us! Fun to the 4 other hotels and the food at WC was awesome. Kept us full through much of the party. We split a few quick service meals during fireworks.

We will be doing EMH at Epcot and snacking at food/wine until early afternoon, then heading back to Polynesian to relax. We will eat counter service either at our hotel, the Contempo Café or something at MK.

We don't plan to head to the party until about 6 or so. We don't wait in line for characters. :)

It's our day off. So, we will make breakfast at our campsite, then hang out at the Fort, swimming, walking, seeing the horses, whatever we want. If the kids get bored, we might do some resort hopping. Unless I can save an extra $400, I will only be sending my two birthday babies (Oct 30 and 31 birthdays!) with their dad or me to the party. The rest will do the campfire/sing-along and movie.

Sleep in (if possible). Breakfast at Ohana 11:15. Head out to the pool and relax. Leave Poly at about 3pm for the party.
