What is your not so normal item to pack, which is helpful while at WDW ?

How do you get groceries delivered?

We are doing a local delivery of cold stuff (maybe garden grocer or another retailer) as well as a Prime Pantry order for dry goods.

I have used Garden Grocer a few times. Very handy!

I bring a bunch of zip lock sandwhich baggies. I use them for a lot of things (and everyone laughs at me, then borrows some). When it rains, I put my phone in a Baggie to keep it dry. For my trip home (on the train) I fill a few with ice (from the ice machines at the resort) to make ice packs for my cooler. (In the past I used regular ice packs, but there's no freezer in the resort rooms, so I couldn't keep them frozen for the way home.)

We make sure to have a good 1st aid kit. How many skinned knees, elbows, cuts have we mended in our many trips? Too many to count. I'm not saying that I am a klutz. We often come across a little one crying because he or she fell and skinned their knee or suffered a small cut. An alcohol wipe, 1st aid cream and a bandage (Mickey banaids) always brings a smile back to the little one and makes us feel really good.

On my next trip? Probably a travel alarm clock now that I have heard Disney is eliminating alarm clocks from their hotel rooms. Talk about an item I never imagined I would need to pack!!

Historically? Crayons. When I was a kid, I always drew while waiting for food at restaurants. I still keep a tablet and pack of colored pencils at the bottom of my carryon bag in case I get stranded somewhere without anything to do.

LOL I thought I was the only (alleged) grown-up with crayons in her purse!

Don't pack an alarm clock - use an App on your phone, and save that space for a great souvenir to bring home!

I bring a pool noodle cut in half, to put under the sheets on my daughter's side of the bed. It keeps her from rolling out of bed, and I don't have to request one of the common use dirty bed rails.

I used to have colored pencils in my car, with a coloring book or paper. Pencils don't melt in the Alabama heat.

Now that my son is an adult, we simply talk when waiting for a meal. Or I will bring a logic/math game. All three of us will play it.

What I can think of for right now.
* Pop up net hamper, it fits nicely in one of the suitcase pockets.
* Laundry bag to haul the stuff from the hamper (we try and pack less clothes, and go home with fewer dirty clothes).
* A microwave dish just for ramen noodles (square kind). My daughter is a picky eater, but will eat ramen noodles.
* Mini Umbrella
* Mist fan (cheaper at Walgreens that the parks)
* Antibacterial Wipes (kids touch everything, and are always putting their hands in their mouths or ears or nose )
* Collapsible Cooler (picky eater love yogurt and soy milk).

THIS IS BRILLIANT! I sure could have used this about a million times when the BabyBunny was a sprout!

I think I replied to this back when, but some updated items:

A really good first aid kit. I spent some $$ and put together one that can handle almost anything.

I bought this gadget at Five Below that plugs into one outlet and has an additional electric outlet as well as two USBs. Helps to organise charging devices. I also bring a small bin, like the size of a child shoebox. That's for magic bands, car keys, anything that might get misplaced now has a central home.

Something I've started carrying everywhere in the past two years that I learned about when I became a runner is leukotape. You can layer it over blisters like moleskin, then turn around and use it to mend a broken purse strap, then hand it off to someone to mend a stroller. I have used it to hem skirts in a pinch. The stuff doesn't come off when wet, yet won't pull your skin off when removed. It also works well for taping up feet that have plantar fascitis and for other maladies that taping can help. Cheap and well worth having.

Never heard of leukotape before. I will have to check it out

A plastic photo case box I found at JoAnn's. Its hold 6 breakfast bars without crushing them in my carry on. It 5x7x1 and does a good job.

LOVE the tip about the plastic drink lids. Pure genious!

We bring our pop up hamper. Keeps the room neater and easier for doing laundry.
I also soak cut up spnges in dish soap and let them dry so we can wash out our mugs at night.

Why not just pack a few Bounty paper towels made with Dawn dishsoap in them.

I don't know about @Greenfield1984, but I've never seen the Bounty towels with Dawn at stores near me. Plus the cut up sponge with dish soap is cheap, easy, and effective. Saves a purchase!
