What is your most romantic spot at WDW?

My wife and I love taking a launch from OKW to DTD and back after the sun goes down and simply enjoying the sights and sounds of the night!

We love the hammocks and swings on the beach at GF and Poly. There is nothing better at night then sitting watching the stars with your toes in the sand holding the one you love. If I had to limit the choices to DVC related we stayed at OKW in July and there was something so sweet and romantic about getting up in the morning and sitting on our balcony listening to carribean music while we ate breakfast.

OOHH I want to go back now!

I'd give consideration to MK during pm EMH, especially the "back way" from front of the castle to Liberty square. Strolling through beautiful landscaping, dimly lit, few other guests (especially after parades), background music, walking over a bridge with the castle view sooo close...

The back walkway from tomorrowland to toontown during Wishes. We were there and it was completely empty, secluded, and some of the fireworks were directly above us. It was perfect!

I wouldn't say it was overly "romantic" since we were with our entire family as well as another family, but it had romantic possibilities given other circumstances---- the Wishes cruise. It was a beautiful night and the time out on the lake was so relaxing. I could see why many people use it as an opportunity to propose.

My wife and I always have a "date night" at the Brown Derby. We order the fantastic Cobb Salad (for those who don't know, Cobb Salad was first served at the original Brown Derby and is much different that what you find in restaurants today), rack of lamb, and the grapefruit cake. A lovely wine puts a shine on the meal. Then we walk around the Studios after dark, pretending we're in old Hollywood.

My DH and I explored the Poly for the first time on our anniv trip back in May and there's a spot where the sidewalk leads you to a circle of palm trees overlooking the lake, GF, MK, CR. I imagine it's popular for wedding pics.

It might sound silly but I love the little spot at WL/VWL behind the main pool and bar where there are extra tables and chairs for bar patrons....

After the bar closes, these tables are empty and I can sit...listen to the sound of the water from the little creek that moves out to the bay.... I hear the music from the lodge speakers, and the sounds of kids in the water...but mostly, it's dark, quiet and I like to look up at the sky and think about how lucky I am to be in Disney enjoying a vacation with people I love.

We really enjoy just sitting on the balcony and enjoying the quiet and the scenery. No crowds, no making sure you catch a bus, etc. Just a nice glass of wine and the two of us...

Watching the fireworks together from various locations is always romantic at WDW

The most romantic Disney spot for us is actually right outside of Disneyland. A few years back we had finished a late dessert in DTD, it was our last night before returning home so we decided to go back in front of the DL/CA main entrance area. It was totally empty, but they had all the fall decoration lights on & enchanted music playing. My husband and I danced together there that night & it was so romantic that we make it a tradition to come back every visit and share a dance in that same spot a couple hours after the park closes on our last night. My mom bought us an anniversary brick right in that same spot so it seems even more magical now!

It's a tradition on our trips to go to the French pavilion in the evening and get a fruit and cheese (and bread) platter from the bakery and a glass of wine or champagne from the wine shop. We find a table in front of the bakery, and as the sun sets the street lights come on (along with the lights in the windows of the "apartments" above the shops). We sip our wine, snack on the cheese and bread, listen to the french music, look at the Eiffel tower rising above us in the "distance", and pretend we are in France.

Mine is a table in the Wine Room at the Ca Grill...DH and I ate there on our first trip together for our 8th anniversary. Near a wall where you can watch EPCOT Illuminations befor or after Wishes. We returned exactly a year later and celebrated our 9th...DH called ahead and magically reserved the same table.....I was amazed.

We liked the beach area at Fort Wilderness. We were always the only ones there whenever we visited. We used to like the hammocks. I don't know if they are still there, as we have children now and haven't been to "our spot" in awhile.

We love the pathway from Epcot international gateway to the beach club. when the park closes and walking along the path, low lights and you can hear the music from either epcot or the broadwalk. Magical!!

I love a late night stroll around the Boardwalk Past BC/YC and over by Swan and Dolphin. Very few ppl out and just very peacefull.....Shawn

Even though DH didn't make it this last trip, I can see the potential California Grill has for being very romantic. I had dinner there last week and had a great view at sunset from my table. After my meal I stepped outside for a few minutes to take in the atmosphere. Perfect place for a romantic viewing of Wishes.

Dinner at California Grill then to the lobby of GF. When the Band begains to play, someone always requests "It had to be you". DW and I have one more dance at Disney World. Having been married 53 years, it is always a joy.

for me id have to say the rose garden in the magic kingdom, for any who dont know where that is if you are looking at the castle it is just to the right, it used to be where the duck boats would leave from , but they rent it out for special ocasions now, i rented it to get ingaged to my wife , disney provided , roses, sparkling cider , a glass slipper , chocolates, and mickey bride and groom hats , it was great , and she was really supprised , oh by the way she said yes , we have been married for 7 yrs and we have a 7yr old son, we also bought into dvc 2 yrs ago
