My 2yo DD and I are going for a wonderful 10 day trip in August. We are taking it a bit slower so have a couple of days 'open' with no plans.

If you could choose only 1 place for a table service meal (character meal or non-character meal) what would it be?

TIA!

Thanks Shell8558! We have both of those planned so it's good to know you recommend them!

I should probably say what I have tentatively planned already (our 180 day window opens tomorrow) is:
Ohana - supper
Cape May - breakfast
Crystal Palace - supper
Le Cellier - lunch (or Garden Grille if Le Cellier is n/a)
Kona Cafe - supper
Askershus - breakfast
Tusker House - breakfast
1900 Park Fare - breakfast

This past trip was my first, so I've only tried a few restaurants before. Of the ones we went to, Raglan Road was my favorite, followed by Cinderella's Royal Table.

One of our "must do's" is Boma... there is sooo much food there and plenty of plain foods for the "pickier eaters" and there are plenty of spicy and "different" types of foods for those who are more adventerous...

Thanks everyone. I was able to book all our reservations this morning and so far have secured Chef Mickey's as our 'extra'. We've done this one a few times and it's not a 'must do' for us so am still interested in hearing other people's suggestions.

We tried Boma a couple of years ago and enjoyed and are looking forward to possibly trying something new this time.

Tough call sometimes, because of the balance between food and ambience. We loved both at 50s PT Cafe in DHS.

My kids and nieces and nephews always speak fondly of the coral reef. I know the adults around these parts like to rate it lowly, but as a cool location with fun food options I think it is the best. It's not Victoria and Alberta's or Artist Point, but for a restaurant in Epcot featuring a giant aquarium, it is awesome. Plus, I aways enjoy the steaks.

Chiming in too late, it sounds like, but I like Sanaa a lot. Very good food, especially good kids options, and animals outside the windows. It's my favorite 1TS restaurant on property.

I think I am chiming in too late as well, but I would recommend The Crystal Palace breakfast buffet! DELISH! A close 2nd would be Chef Mickey's. If you've never been to Earl of Sandwich in DTD, that is a must try as well, although I think that would count as QS meal. Not sure..we went there based of a Cast Member's recommendation and LOVED it!

Enjoy your trip!

Ohana followed by Raglan Road. They give you a TON to eat at Ohana so given you're going with youngster don't know if the price would be the best use of TS.

Thanks everyone for your great suggestions! Although I've booked all our meals I'm going to look further into your suggestions. I can always trade things around after seeing what is out there.

Thanks again!
