We are currently planning just one day in Animal Kingdom - we may just snack to keep on time for our FP - what is your favourite QSD or snack there? My DGS likes hotdogs- any recommendations?

Grab the American Kobe Beef Hot Dog at Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafes in Asia, top it with Kimchi. Another great choice is the Salmon BLT at the Smiling Crocodile in Discovery Island and the Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Shrimp and Sweet Chili Sauce at Eight Spoon Cafe in Discovery Island

Our go to QS meals are Flame Tree BBQ and Yak and Yeti. Check Y&Y for snack credit options too, egg rolls and chicken fried rice are both options.

The new QS Satu'li Canteen is delicious. We preordered on the app on the way to AK and when we were ready to eat we hit the here now button on the app and was able to walk in to the restaurant without waiting on the line to get in. We walked right up to the front of the line for online orders and got our meal immediately. It was a wonderful experience plus the food was delicious. The place is air conditioned and lovely inside.

That sounds good planning- and doable in less time - I'll check the menu thank you!

I still have a weakness for the ribs at flame tree washed down with a plummy red wine or an icy beer -- its a great location to sit outside by the lake under the trees (as long as its not a building site :) ) Looking forward to checking out Satu'li in a few weeks

Can't wait! Might have to eat there before we head back to the resort!

AK is great for snacks! They have a lot of "food truck" type carts that serve a variety of snacks that you don't find most places (falafel, samosas, mac and cheese w/ shrimp, hummus and veggies, etc). Hands down my favorite snack, though, is the chicken fried rice from Yak and Yeti QS. I'm not a big fan of rice, but this stuff just has so much flavor and is seasoned perfectly.

Snacks suit us through the day so that might be our choice for this day! Some great tips - I think I'm going to ask the same question for the other parks!

Zuri's sweet shop has delicious caramel apples. I had the monkey one, it was so good. I still think about it. Also, the chocolate covered pineapple spears are really refreshing & good.
