I've never been & I would really like to check it out in November. Outside of WDW, I'm a big fan of reuben sandwiches & milkshakes, but I'd like to see what others like to order at Sci Fi. Thanks for your help!!!
(P.S. I understand that, like many other Disney restaurants, some people haven't had great experiences here. Regardless, even if just for the atmosphere, we still want to check it out.)

During our last trip, I had the Italian Grilled Chicken Sandwich and it was pretty good. DS had the burger which he said was OK.

We eat at Sci Fi every trip. Our family of 4 all likes something different.

Our youngest son likes the ribs, Oldest son likes the burger and fries, both like the milkshakes. My husband always chooses something different and has never been dissapointed. I like the shrimp pasta. I also like the cheese cake or apple crisp for dessert. We will be in WDW in 3 weeks and eating at the Sci Fi our second day.:cool1:

I really like the rueben at Sci-fi and order it each time. My Dh likes the burger. He ordered the turkey sandwich but it was a little dry and tasteless. We might try the beef and blue salad next time we are there.

I actually really enjoy the shrimp pasta...it's got artichoke hearts & olives & sundried tomatoes...some strong flavors, but I like it very much. Only entree I've ordered there (just not into burgers, fries, sandwiches, etc.) And we love the chocolate peanut butter cake for dessert.

My husband really liked his burger, and I was pretty happy with my reuben! :)

I guess those aren't the most original answers, but for a place like Sci-Fi, go with the classics! :thumbsup2

My DH & I had the Shrimp Pasta, it was really good. I was unable to finish, it was a large portion. Shrimp were huge & dish was tasty. I would recommend. Also, I thought the Apple Crisp dessert was really delicious too....

What type of pasta and sauce is it?

DH and my cousin ordered the turkey and both said it was kind of dry and tasteless.

The one I had a few weeks ago was bowties with a creamy sauce, sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts & Kalamata olives - but the menu I just looked at on WDWInfo.com was a little different:

Shrimp Penne Pasta - Made with garlic and capers, plum tomatoes, baby spinach, and white wine topped with Asiago cheese. - $19.99

I knew I wasn't crazy - they must have JUST RECENTLY changed the menu - here's the description from allears.net which is dated 6/10:

Shrimp Pasta - Bow tie pasta and sauteed shrimp tossed with artichoke hearts, Kalamata olives, baby spinach and feta cheese $19.99

Ok I'll be the first to recommend the BLT Soup! It's a tomato bisque with bacon & lettuce on top - sounds odd but it's really good! Just be sure to eat it quickly, don't let the lettuce sink in & get saturated or it may not be as good.

Me too, on both accounts! Are you flying out of Seatac?

P.S. Thanks the OP for asking this question, I was curious about the same subject.

Gotta go with the Reuben and side of onion rings. Outstanding!!!

another thumbs up! I'm a fry fan tho. AND.... my personal fave, REAL vanilla Coke!!!!!!! YUMMO!!!!!!

Thanks for the helpful responses! I knew I could count on my Dis-buddies to give me some great info!

DH loves the reuben and I love the cheeseburger..throw in fries and vanilla cokes and we are so happy! What else would you want to eat at a drive in ha ha

I second the BLT soup it is very interesting but Yummy!! I also enjoy the beef and Blue salad the only thing odd about that is they literally give you a 1/4 wedge of lettuce lol it was very good though.
