What is your favorite thing about your Home Resort

AKL: option of club level and value studios, beautiful resort, savannah views

GFV: monorail, love the Grand Floridian and think the villas are gorgeous

BWV - location and point cost of standard rooms
SSR - MF
OKW - room size

Now if only I could get all three in one resort, and may through SAB in for good measure as well.

BLT:

Walking to AND FROM MK: Priceless
Access to the other monorail hotels/resorts
Access to the TTC
Parking close to resort (but true of most of the DVC resorts)
Room views. No matter where you are, there's a Disney vibe to the view IMO.
Shaded pool (in the summer this is a good thing sometimes)

AK

Short drive to 192 and the rest of the world (restaurants and stores)
GREAT pools (really prefer Kidani even though it's smaller)
Savanna rooms are unique in almost all the world
Dark rooms (dislike but understand why)
Distance from everything except Animal Kingdom Park (I actually like being off the beaten path sometimes since we drive anyway.).
Easy to book 90% of the time. No 11 month window normally necessary for normal accommodations.

OK after a number of years, we have loved coming to BCV. It was fresh and we marveled at the style plus SAB

After all this time, we are used to it as comfortable alternative to our house. So as silly as it sounds, my favorite thing is the high water pressure. We are on well water and have low pressure for showers and at BCV I can stay in the shower for half an hour just enjoying it. It's the little things in life that make a difference to me.

So what is your favorite thing about your primary home resort?

Great question...

Our Home is.. SSR..

I love the "Springs" flowing... makes me so happy when I see it..

BLT: if I had to pick one thing, it would be view of Cinderella Castle from our room. If I could say more, walk to/from MK, extra bath in 1BR/2BR, size of 1BR living room, monorail access.

BCV: One thing, easy access to 2 parks! Other, peaceful location, Marketplace, SAB, convenient parking, turtles in the canal, close to Boardwalk. Ahhhh -- feels like HOME!!

SSR- laid back ambiance, AP, close to DD, and the CM who treat you like family.

We own at SSR and I love the expansive grounds and landscaping. As Disney Vets, we tend to spend as much time relaxing around the resort these days as we do in the parks, and I love just talking walks around SSR to see the beautiful landscaping, feeding the turtles and fish on the water bridge, watching the golfers (if I am not playing that is!!) on the golf course, or sitting behind congress parks just taking in the water and sights, sounds and smells of DTD. I love the resort, and spend hours just walking and taking it all in. When you spend 4 months indoors due to the harsh winters, getting to spend some time at SSR in the fall (when we usually travel), gives us that last feeling of summer warmth before the harsh reality of a NY winter becomes a reality. SSR is just a great place to be! And, since we live in Saratoga NY - we certainly get that "home" feel from our Saratoga Florida stay!

Animals, animals, animals
viewing the animals from your balcony. Especially during the quiet early evening hours.
Having a little bit of nature(more or less) outside your room.
The décor and grandness of the lobbies, especially Jambo house with its log construction.
The rustic/natural theming of the rooms with lots of earth tones and wood carvings.
Some people have cats or dogs, how many can say they are responsible for taking care of Giraffe?

VWL because of the theming and peaceful feeling and BWV because of its amenities and its close proximity to HS and Epcot
