What is your favorite restaurant for a Sub?

Subs - well that would be Subway I guess.....

but the REAL thing are the HOAGIES in Philadelphia. Hoagies and Philly Cheesesteaks.... there are not substitutes for the Hoagies shops in PA and NJ!!!! Pudges in East Norriton and Ray's in Lansdale come to mind!

Someone is opening a Philly Connection hoagie shop around the corner from my house here in Orlando.... we will see how they rate!!!!

Geesh -now I want an Italian Hoagie!!!!

I don't think of chains as places to get good hoagies. You need little local places for that, and for cheesesteaks.
Subway is good for what it is, esp. the low fat line. But they're not hoagies.
If I had to get a chain type sandwich I'd go to Wawa. They do it well for a chain. If you're going to the Jersey shore I can suggest some places.

But Penn Station is a close second (LOVE their hot Chicken Teriyaki sub) and they have the BEST homemade lemonade!

Love that! I have only eaten at Penn St once but that is what I had sooo Good. I just ate at Jimmie Johns yesterday boy where they good.

For local, Quiznos gets another vote. Also, a local chain, Deli Plus does pretty well. I also like a couple diff ones from Jerry's.
