We have one day that we will be doig DTD, and touring some of the other resorts. (NOT pool hopping, just want to look to see if we may want to stay at one in the future.) So I have 1 table service not booked yet. I am leaning toward WCC, but I am not sure yet. So where would you reccomend and why? I have been looking at menus and everything looks good, so that didn't really help any.

Resort restaurant is Cape May for breakfast or dinner

DTD restaurant is Wolfgang Puck Express...I know it is a CS place but it is the best thing going! Great food, huge portions at a great price

We loved WCC!
For Downtown Disney, my favourite restaurant would probably be the House of Blues. We did enjoy Wolfgang Pucks, but last year it wasn't as good as we'd remembered.

Our favorite resort restaurant is Kona Cafe! Can't wait to go in a few more months!

Our favorite DTD restaurant is RFC. Ok, the MAIN reason we like it is because of the theming, and it's "tradition" for us. However, the food is pricey for what you get, and the service is almost always horrid. :sad2:

Oh, I hadn't thought about Yachtsman lately, but I remember that it looked good when I was trying to make my ADR's. Thanks for the reminder.

I will definantly check out Kona Cafe.

Does anyone like Boma? I would love to try to different foods. Is it a buffet?

Here is where we are going so far.

Chef Mickey
Coral Reef
Donald's Breakfastosauras
Sci_Fi
Mama Melrose

I know 2 of them are buffet's, but those are for the kids, plus they are breakfast, so I won't mind them too much.

I'd second the suggestion for the Yachtsman. But I'd also suggest Artist Point. However, if you are on the dining plan both of these are 2TS.

I am on the dining plan, and only have 1 ts left.

While I don't like buffet's, I am highly considering Boma. I love to try new things, and this sounds really interesting to me. I have called already and they have a ton of openings the day I am looking at. But I am not toally convienced, since my DH and DS are very picky eaters.

I would like more information on WCC, like what type of things they do, I know about the ketchup and the sodas, but I have read several places that it is loud, what makes it so loud? And also, is the food up to par, or do people just eat there for the experience.

Boma was my favorite. It is a buffet but well worth it IMO. Not only was the food good, it was not your average chicken buffet. We've booked it again this year. I heard Kona is great. We've been trying to get in, no openings yet.

We enjoy WCC, if you are looking for a fun kinda rowdy time go with WCC. If you want more relaxed I would go with Kona.

I have found WCC to be a little less rowdy at lunchtime than at breakfast or dinner, if that makes a difference. Kona Cafe is good too. A lot of it depends on which resorts you want to take a look at. Kona is a good choice if you want to check out the monorail resorts. If you want to check out the Epcot resorts, Flying Fish and Spoodles have been good choices for us, and we also like the Yacht Club Galley.

My favorite resort restaurant is the Concourse Steakhouse in the Contemporary. I'm bummed that they are closing it.

Can't really help at DTD. Honestly, I think we've only eaten at the Rainforest and the House of Blues. I like the Rainforest, but it's just a bit too pricey for what you get IMO.

Jiko is our favourite Resort restaurant and I would have to say Portabello in DTD.
