I was wondering because I am going to cancel WCC after seeing so many bad reviews. The day we were doing WCC we were at MK and the resteraunts there are not so great (no park hopper). What would you sugest as an alternative, we want to stay away from sig. resteraunts.

I personally love WCC, I've been there on every trip :goodvibes

Kona Cafe at the Polynesian is one of my favorite's that's usually not on everyone's must-do list. If you're doing dinner, you could try 1900 Park Fair (which I believe is at the GF cafe right now), but I don't know if you were looking for a character dinner or not.

If you do stay in the MK, Crystal Palace is one of my personal favorite's. I know that it gets mixed reviews, but it's a must-do on almost every trip!:cutie:

Whatever you decide, I hope your trip is magical! :wizard:

Boma. I'm, like, such an advertiser of that place. We had a great experience there. I loved this place because it was food you really couldn't find anyplace else. All different kinds of dishes, and ALL YOU CAN EAT! We had great service and a great time. I would try definately try it if I were you, you won't be dissapointed!:cheer2:

I agree with helloirishkitty, we LOVE  Whispering Canyon. We have eaten there on 2 trips, and the food is always good and the service is great. If you don't want straws thrown at you though, this isn't the place for you!! You have to be open to some "not normal" waiter/waitress behavior. But if you are looking for a fun, good meal I think it is great.

Columbia Harbor House, O'Hana breakfast and Le Cellier are also favorites for my family.

First, I must say that our family of nine (ages 2 to 50) loved WCC! I was pleasantly surprised with the Skillet dinner-it was actually quite good! And even though the atmopshere is very playful, it is kick-up-your-heels relaxing, too! However...if you are set on cancelling WCC, I must suggest Raglan Road in DTD! We dined there a few weeks ago-twice, in fact!-and everything-the food, the atmosphere & the service-was fantastic!! :thumbsup2

This has been getting beaten up on the board lately, but we still love Ohana at the POLY. We will be eating there in August, so I will let you know if our feeling change. This will be our third trip. The food has always been plentiful and served hot (which I appreciate!), and is always very tasty.

:thumbsup2 We love Kona! Just a monorail ride from MK.

DTD restaurant is Wolfgang Puck Express. I know it is a CS place but the food is delicious and the portions are huge! I am addicted to the pulled pesto chicken sandwich on foccaccia...YUM!!!

Resort restaurant is a tie and they are both breakfast...Kona because of the pressed pot coffee and tonga toast and Cape May/Goofys Beach Bash because of all the fresh fruit they offer.

Our favorites are:
California Grill at the Contemporary
Ohana & Kona at the Poly
Wolfgang Pucks Cafe and Express, both at DTD
:yay:

We LOVED Whispering Canyon. Our only bummer was that they wouldn't let my new DH run around with the kiddos :lmao: He wanted SO badly to run around and whoop and hollar with them...:rotfl:

DTD we love Wolfgang Puck's and my fave Earl of Sandwich! Hmmm, just thinking about it makes me hungry! These 30 days better pass quickly!
