What is your favorite place to

trade pins? Is in in the parks or at a Pin Meet at one of the Resorts or even DTD? I have always loved trading in the parks and have to say Epcot is my favorite place to trade in the parks but I have done my best trading at DTD... How about you?

I also enjoy EPCOT's area in the parks.
DTD has to be one of my least favorites as the atmosphere is not as friendly and agressive IMHO.
The Contemporary meet is good if not too crowded, but really enjoyed the trading at the Polynesian.
Above all else are the ones organized right here at the DIS boards!

That is true.. DTD can be very intense...

Believe it or not, some of my best trades were made at WOD. For some reason, I never found it to be intimidating, I just got good at saying no when someone made a ridiculous request. I haven't done any trading at Pin Traders, but I always enjoy the trading at the Friday night meets at the Contemporary.

I personally have favored Epcot, and WOD. For lanyards, AK and out of the way resort shops have been my best finds..

Oh, sure, make someone a moderator and he thinks he can give away all the secret lanyard spots.

Actually, Brian is right. We've also had great luck with CM lanyards at AK and at various resort gift shops. As for trading with other collectors, I'm with Daber on WOD -- too intense and not as friendly. We haven't spent a lot of time at DPT, so I don't know what the feel there is like. The Contemporary is a great environment, but Boardwalk on Sundays just didn't feel comfortable the one night I was there. Also, some of our great trading experiences have been spur of the moment in the parks.

I pretty much agree with Dave also. Don't like WOD at all. I do like trading at the Contemporary (more so before Disney took it over and herded us into a "corral" type area) and I really liked trading at the Poly. It's ashame they didn't like us trading there.
