What is your favorite NON DISNEY animated movie?

Mine is probably The Road to El Dorado (Dreamworks) with Anastasia (Fox) coming in at a close second and The Secret of NIMH (Don Bluth) coming in at a close third.

I LOVED Anastasia, but I'd have to say "Shrek" is my favorite.....

It is (my opinion) better than the original....Don't leave the theater too quickly after it "ends" though...make sure to watch the credits

Definitely Shrek and Shrek 2 was even better. I agree that Puss in Boots was the best character in the sequel.

Yuck. I just hated Shrek and Shek 2, such stupid movies appealing to the lowest common denominator...it makes me ill that they are making more money than something brilliant like Finding Nemo and probably patting themselves on the back thinking they are so much better. They're not, and I refuse to contribute to their box office anymore.

Huh ? How does Shrek appeal to the "lowest common denominator" any more than Finding Nemo did ? A fart joke is a fart joke, wether it's got the disney stamp on it or not

I'm not knocking Nemo...I LOVED Nemo...But Shrek ain't exactly "Dumb and Dumber, ya' know ?
