DW and I are planning on going to TOWL one night.
DD and friend will be at Magic kingdom do we will need to meet them before we go to TOWL.

What are your favorite places in the monorail resorts for a drink and bite to eat?

Mizners at the GF.

Trader Sam's and if I have to wait to get in I'll be at Tambu lounge. TOTW is also very nice. :earsboy:

The Wave. Great food and drink selections, beautiful bar and lounge area, and you don't have to deal with the ridiculous crowds that seem to be everywhere at the Polynesian. If it were me, I'd avoid Tambu and Trader Sam's like the plague. Trying to enjoy a drink and a snack when I'm elbow-to-elbow with tons of screaming kids and stressed parents waiting for their 'Ohana reservations is never my idea of relaxing!

I couldn't agree more! My wife and I LOVE taking a break and relaxing with a cocktail and appetizers. The bartenders and atmosphere are terrific at The Wave!

Tambu Or Trader Sam's. If Trader Sam's is busy, their patio is very nice, and they have a Hawaiian singer in the evenings. Love the MK view at Tambu. We like sitting by the floor to ceiling windows just outside of the bar area.
At GF Mizners is nice, and if it's a nice evening the Beach Pool Bar is great. They have lakeside seating area with tables & chairs and good food. Looking out at the lake view on a nice evening is so nice.

I may be in the minority, but I'm not a fan of The Wave.

Is say Trader Sam's as a first choice, with Tambu lounge or the Trader Sam's patio as a second choice. The problem with both Trader Sam's and Tambu is that they can be very crowded and busy, making it hard to get a seat. It really depends on the day of the week and the time (early evening, late evening, etc.). I'd also consider Mizner's at the GF. I find the Wave to be rather dark and depressing; the lighting isn't great in there and there are no windows (I think...not that I saw anyway).
