Sahlen's (official hot dog of the Buffalo Bills) natural casing, but since I can't get those down here, I like Boar's Head.

I'm glad to see that someone else mentioned Sahlen's--Once you've had one of those, anything else pales in comparison. I'm not a native western New Yorker, but I've adopted these dogs as my favorite for life.

I grew up in WNY. We didn't know what we had until we couldn't get it anymore. Same goes for pizza, subs, beef on weck, and wings. However, I'll take the weather here over the food there.

Here in the great state of WV we have a hot dog festival each year because of the different hot dog places established here. It would be interesting to see what toppings everyone likes on their hot dog. Our favorite places in the area:

My daughter used to live a couple of miles from there - Covered Bridge Apartments. My other daughter went to school in Syracuse - haven't been there in 5 years or more. Strangely I miss it.

Brands I buy are Boar's Head, Black Bear, Sabrett, Thumanns, Nathan's, Hebrew National, Best...

I also agree that the Hebrew National 97% fat free are the best low fat that I have had.
