What is Your Favorite Flower

tulips, hydrangea, casablanca lilies, ranunculus, hybrid delphinium, lisianthus, hyacinth....

that's what working in a flower shop will do to ya!

Oh Yeah!! Forgot Bird of Paradise!! Used to have a huge plant when I lived in Paradise (California) a few years ago!!

was heaven scent........ Lilacs are a close second...but alas I do not have a green thumb and do have too much TX heat.

I can't pick just one.

But right now, two of my favorites are roses and plumbago.

At other times of the year, it may be mandavilla (sp?), bouganvilla (sp?), bluebonnets, paintbrush, geraniums, azaleas, lilacs, iris, columbines......... I can list a ton that I love.

My favorite is the Sunflower!!! You know, the traditional one you'd find growing in fields in the midwest? It's just soooooooo pretty!!! The sad thing is that, I've been trying to grow the 12-ft long Mammoth Sunflower here in S. FL and have not had any luck!!! Well, at least it's pretty to look at!!!

Tulips are my all-time favorite, but truly I love all "springtime" flowers: daffodils, hyacinth, lilies and there is nothing like those first crocuses bursting through the ground to signal the beginning of spring!
