We are planning a trip in October and we will most likely be at Epcot for two different nights... First one we will eat our way thru the F&W Festival... but the second night I was thinking of trying one of the restaurants...(we will be trying to catch one of the concerts)

And I would love some suggestions - We have tried Canada, Japan, and Mexico - which i LOVED both Japan and Mexico... but any other recommendations -

Comments on The Living Seas Restaurant? Or England? Heck any of them if you ahve an opinion... Please help.

Lastly, When can you make PS in advance? We usually only make them for LTT before MNSSHP - so I have never made them other wise and Don't know when you need to do that.

Thanks
LauraJean

Have you thought about Restaurant Makaresh in Morroco? Really good food and a great dining experience.

I was HUGELY disappointed with the Rose and Crown in England. I've had food at our local Irish pub type places that was much better.

I really loved Marakesh and would also recommend it. The atmosphere is really great and the food is wonderful!

San Angel was yummy as well. :cool1:

The food in Germany is pretty authentic food. My DH loved it and said that it was just as good as what he used to eat when he was stationed in Germany for quite a few years. I love the food in Italy...again, pretty authentic. But if you are more of an Olive Garden fan, you may not like it.

Coral Reef has an awesome ambience. We had dinner there during our first trip and it was superb. Since then we've been going for a lobster bisque and margarita lunch :cool1:

Matsunoma lounge in Japan is also great if you like sushi. It was pretty empty the last time we visited, so we had a wonderful window table which was perfect to view Illuminations.

I've also heard great things about Le Cellier but haven't eaten there....yet :earboy2:

I give Biergarten a thumbs up! I have also read several other satisfied Makaresh customers. So much in fact we are having PS's for there our next trip.

I personally did not enjoy Coral Reef at all but I seem to be in the minority for that, perhaps we just were there on an off day.

I have to say that Rose and Crown is a favorite of ours! We have eaten (and drank : ) there every visit. The fish and chips are a must have for us and the service has been great everytime we have been there. The CM's love to tell you about where they are from etc. Just start up a conversation and they will ablige. We will be there tomorrow!!!! We leave at 7:30 am in the morning and are staying until Sunday. Beers all around tomorrow night! :cool1:

I liked Coral Reef, however I think it is overpriced for the food they offer. I know its Disney ;) and everything is overpriced, but the food wasnt that great. It was cool to be able to see the aquariums though.

Someday I might try Coral Reef again, but will try all the others I want to experience first. :)

Another vote for Marrakesh. An all around excellent restaurant.

marrakesh is easily our favorite restaurant

we had a great meal at le cellier, but we goto marrakesh everytime we are at WDW

This Aug DS13 & I are planning lunch at Coral Reef
and late lunches at San Angel, Teppenyaki and LeCellier

We have eaten at :

Garden Grill (3 times)
Teppanyaki (twice)
Le Cellier (twice)
Rose and Crown
San Angel Inn
Biergraten

Our favorite...... Biergarten

Le Cellier is our favorite, but we also like Rose & Crown. The Coral Reef is ok, but overpriced IMHO. We've eaten at all the Epcot restaurants except for Marraskesh and these are the two we like the most.

My vote is for Restaurant Marrakesh as well. My favorite in all of WDW, not just Epcot.

I've eaten in Makaresh in Morroco twice and had a wonderful time at both meals. My nephew (who is 6 now) really likes it and wants to go back this time around.

Biergarten - always a must-see for me, although I have a soft spot for German food and we have no German restaurants at home. This is my favorite.

Marrakesh - been 2 or 3 times, loved it all of them. Wonderful place. A very close second favorite to Germany.

Le Cellier - went once, food was good, but nothing I couldn't get at home.

Japan - also went once, good food, nothing I couldn't get at home.

Rose and Crown - I like the food, but it's nothing I'd go out of my way for. Great place for a late seating on the water for the fireworks though.

Alfredos (Italy) - I don't care much for Italian, but my wife loves it. We went here last trip and both of us were unimpressed.

I've eaten at R&C and it was *okay*. Nothing spectacular for us, a very nice meal though. I liked Le Cellier better than R&C.

My favorite Epcot restaurant has got to be Marrakesh. It's a must-do for us.

Another vote for Marrakesh!
I will be eating there on my next trip for my birthday :cool1:
