I'm in the 8 (classics) and 12 (dream class) camp. But, if for some reason that isn't possible then 7 (classics) and 9 (dream class). But any is better than not being on a cruise!

I like the deck where my stateroom is, because that means 1 of 2 things.
1. I have a cruise booked
2. I am on the booked cruise.

and thanks for your service to my bank account .... I like my deck with a much smaller number just fine, and at reasonable price (well reasonable compared to the concierge / suits)

If you are talking about where to hang out during the cruise ... pool decks and adult entertainment decks (3 on the classics, 4 on the Dream class)

Deck 4 is also a favorite place to hang out on any of the ships - nice loungers, watch the ocean bob along, people watch, outside but in the shade (usually)

On the classics, I love deck three. The one time I was on the Fantasy, I liked the deck where Skybar was the best, but I don't recall which deck that was.
