Trying to decide where to lunch at each park. Any suggestions? We are on the dining plan. Just DH and I.

AK - Picnic in the Park when they're offering. Can't beat the value or the convenience!

MK - El Pirata y El Perico - Good food, different from other locations or Pecos Bill's for the toppings bar!

EP - The combo platter at Tangierine Cafe. Such a great value with delicious food!

DHS - I never eat here if I can avoid it. Not such a fan of the dining options!

I forgot to add a few other EP favorites!

Garden Grill - Yummy, fresh options!
Yakitori House - Love their Japanense quick service options!

MK: Definitely CHH - their tuna sandwich was a nice change from burgers :thumbsup2
EPCOT: Sunshine Seasons - huuuuge variety and tons of seating :cloud9:
DHS: We weren't too happy with the choices here - ended up at Pizza Planet, which was only OK
AK: Flame Tree Barbecue! :goodvibes

Casey's at MK, Flame Tree at AK, Min & Bill's at DHS, (the hot dog in a pretzel is yummo), and didn't do counter at Epcot.

Jules

MK: Columbia Harbor House or Cosmic Ray's
E: Sunshine Seasons
DHS: ABC Commissary
AK: Restaurantosaurus or Pizzafari

DTD: Earl of Sandwich :worship:

At the MK we like CHH
Epcot is Sunshine Seasons (lots of choices)
AK we like the Flame Tree BBQ
But at the Studio there simply isn't any place good. Best thing to do is to head for one of the hotels.

I have to agree with all of this. The only hard decision I would have is in epcot. I love the Boulangerie Patissrie. If you want a good deal with a light lunch this is the way to go. I also am a sucker for the fish and chips in UK.

That picnic in the park was a huge surprise. It was such a good deal and the food was good.

I don't understand why they can't get the food worked out at the DHS? We have never had a great meal anyplace. I guess the food is hit or miss at 50's Prime Time but not any better then a Cracker Barrel. much more $$$

Columbia Harbor House - MK.
Tangierine Cafe - Morocco, Epcot

I don't have any favorites at any other park since I've never done counter service at AK, and Catalina Eddie's at HS used to be my favorite until they got rid of the BBQ Chicken Pizza.

You'll probably hear every possible suggestion, but here are mine! :)

MK - Pecos Bill: Good burgers and chicken wrap. Generally convenient, although it can get quite crowded.

EPCOT - UK Fish and Chips window. They have fish and beer. From the same window. Yes.

DHS - Pizza Planet I guess. It is pretty decent pizza, not great, but there aren't a ton of options here.

AK - Flame Tree BBQ. Ribs from a window. And its not bad! If you can score a table down by the water it can be very pleasant.

MK- Pecos Bill's fo a Taco Salad and the Fixin' Bar
EP- When we do eat CS there Sunshine Seasons (But to many GREAT TS places to eat don't get to many of the CS)
AK-Flame Tree
HS- Starring Rolls- Again usually eat @ TS here but for a great sandwich and a fabulous sweet treat Can't go wrong w/ this.

I like Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe at MK in Tomorrow Land. They have a pretty good variety of food and a topping bar! :thumbsup2

Electric Umbrella at EPCOT is good too!

MK either Columbia Harbor House or Pecos Bill's
AK Frametree Barbecue for sure
Ep Kringla Bakeri has fabulous soup & sandwiches and you get an outstanding dessert
HS Starring Rolls or Studio Catering Co. (you can get Tuscan deli, chicken caesar wrap or turkey club just to name a few. Don't know why people can't find good food at HS. We never have a problem!

Good luck and have fun planning!

I agree with pretty much everything that has already been said, but I would add Fairfax Fare at DHS. We can share most of the meals here. At MK, my son would eat every meal at either Pecos Bill's or Cosmic Rays just so he can dip his fries in cheese :)

Here is my list:

MK--Cosmic Rays (I think their wraps are a nice change from pizza/burgers)
Epcot--Either Boulangerie Patissrie in France or the Fish and Chips place in the UK
DHS--Generally not a fan...I would use snack credits and get muffins or pastries from Starring Rolls.
AK--Flame Tree (and this is from a Kansas City girl who is pretty snobby about BBQ!)

We have tended to enjoy the QS at the resorts more than the parks.

At MK CHH hands down!
but just a monorail away is Capt. Cooks at the Poly ( I must have both when we go!)

and we love Mara at AKL

Mk - Columbia Harbor House and Pecos Bill
HS - Backlot xpress and Studio Catering
Ak - Flame tree and Yak and yeti
EC - Cantina San Angel / Lotus Blossom / Yorkshire County / Kringla Bakery

:hippie:

I think I'm concurring with everyone:

AK - Flame Tree BBQ - great ribs, pulled pork, and the salad option is good too.
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons for variety - or Tangierene (sp?) cafe for value (it's like a $14 meal for your CS credit and good food too!)
MK - We like CHH - really like the fried shrimp, the salads are really good too. Plus, you always can find a table somewhere in there! Plus one of my favorite CS desserts, the Apple Cobbler.
DHS - We tried Backlot Express last trip, and it was decent if nothing special. Agree DHS does not have any "cut above the rest" meal choices. We also don't mind the outdoor area by Sunset Boulevard because there are at least a lot of choices, if not too many good ones.
DTD - Earl of Sandwhich or Wolfgang Puck Express are both really good.

MK - Pecos Bill's

AK- Restarauntasaurus

DHS - Backlot Express

EP - Everyone eats in a different country. One of my kids always does England for the fish-n-chips, another does China for the Orange Chicken, my youngest prefers a simple hot dog.

DD - We love the Earl of Sandwich
